Not too busy on a sunday at 4pm. Reasonably priced and comes with ice cream at the end. I wish they had a non-caffeinated ice cream option, like plain vanilla or something.nnSoup bases are good. I always get the signature mala soup base. Up to Medium spice is enjoyable. My kid portions himself and is always full at about $8. I usually go for about $7.50, since I mostly only eat sliced beef. Pretty good deal with their weekday special when it comes with a drink too. If I had a bigway close to work I'd be here everyday.nnTables are close together and not well spaced. It does have a constant stream of customers so waiting for a table is common. They will not seat you until your whole party is there. This location does replenish customer's waters often which is nice. People are friendly and would come to this location again even though I have to pay for street parking.
Bigway is always the same so its a nice consistent spot, you know what you're getting when you go. Pricing isn't that bad I think its the same as all of the other bigway knockoffs. One complaint is they always tend to overcook the noodles. Comes with icecream which is nice. No reservations but waitlist is a thing
Big way hotpot is a you pick they cook concept, where you choose your ingredients, then they weigh and cook it on a broth of your choice. Plenty of students, and people who like hot pot come here. They also have a self service sauce area. Overall it was pretty tasty. I would recommend being selective of what you want, or you might end up paying more.
Big Way Hotpot is always delicious, and with drinks and dessert included, the value is amazing! The food didn’t turn out as I expected this time, but the manager was so kind that it completely made up for it. I’ll definitely come back again
It’s a very nice restaurant and I really enjoyed it. But honestly, if you don’t have an Asian friend with you, it feels almost impossible — everything is very confusing and you don’t really know how to combine things. You end up feeling like a fish out of water.nnThe ambiance was great; when we arrived we didn’t wait too long, but I noticed a lot of people standing in line. We paid $61 for two people, which I think could be a little more affordable. I’m only deducting one point because even though we mentioned that we didn’t know anything, no one really helped us.nnI would definitely come again, but next time with an Asian friend .
