My daughter is 5 and has gone here for the last couple years. Gymnastics day is her favourite day of the week! The staff are great, I believe we will be coming here for many more years, and it has been so fun to watch her learn and grow!
Class hours are ridiculous! Not a single class option before 4:00pm for kindergym! Unless it’s a Saturday… not interested in dragging my kids out of bed early on a Saturday! I was hoping to have something for my 4 year old to do while my oldest is at school. Not wanting to rush out after she gets home. A few years ago I had my oldest enrolled here for parent and tot and kindergym and there were always weekday morning classes. Also why is the sign up so weird. Where are the winter session sign ups? Is there not sessions anymore, like you just sign up and pay throughout the year!? That’s unacceptable. Used to think this place was great. Not so sure anymore. I have been checking back here for months to see if they had added any weekday morning sessions. Nothing.
Great facility! And when we experienced a small hiccup with our daughters course, Tammy and Kelli handled our concerns in a professional and satisfying manner. Under the direction of Kelli it is sure to only get better.
Take my 2 year old here for the mommy and me classes, it is always a wonderful experience, and her instructor Megan is amazing! She is so patient and really helps out my daughter through the classes. Would highly recommend this place!
Class sizes are large, too large for coaches to manage effectively. Kids end up doing most of the stations unsupervised, which is not acceptable for a beginner program. We had to sign a contract to lock in our rate when their monthly rates went from $70 to $129 in January 2022.. when we decided to exit the contract due to being unhappy with the programming, I had to pay the difference for each month anyway, which ended up being $249. If a class day falls on a stat holiday there are no make up classes or adjustments to the monthly fee either, so if you do decide to go for this program I suggest not taking a Monday or Friday class.
The facility looks great but don't be fooled by the looks alone. I had my girl in the competitive program for more than one year with no results. Lack of effective communication, make their own rules, coaches inconsiderate towards hearing members concerns. The club has potential, however, they don't care about the feelings of their athletes. The daughter loved her team, some of the coachs behaviour is questionable. Negative experience. I definitely do not recommend.
Daughter loved it, but after a price increase that more than doubled what we were paying, I can no longer recommend this place especially if your low income. While I know costs do go up and everything is getting more expensive, but over double the cost is way too much.
Amazing gym coaches are great not only are they great with all the athletes but there teaching is amazing, my daughter is on the competition side and we couldn’t be happier, this is her second gym and this blows our previous place out of the water. I would recommend to all my friends and family and will talk very highly of our experiences here!!!
We booked our daughters 4th Birthday with west winds. It was a crap show right from the start. There were too many birthdays booked way too close together and the staff didn't know what party belonged where.We didn't get into our room on time to set up decorations which ended up cutting into present time. There was nowhere to put jackets and presents or even stand when you first arrive. The play time was very structured. It would have been nice if the kids were aloud to just play with what interested them but still have supervision. The chairs in the party room were filthy. When our 2 hour time limit was up they were literally standing at the door with a broom waiting for us to leave. My daughter didn't get a chance to open all of her gifts because we were shuffled out in the middle of gift opening.I had asked for a little extra time and one staff member agreed I could have a little extra time but apparently never communicated that to the rest of the staff I would never ever book a party through them again. For the price of $170 you are much better off going with the YMCA or something else. The coach that took the kids on the equipment seemed nice. That was about the only good part.
Have had both our daughters take classes here, which they both love. Also lots of fun at the drop in times. Great staff and nice facility, would definitely recommend!
