Great fenced in Dog park! We walked around for about half hour twice around the park it's a good size. A bit of trees in the area and larger rocks to play on. Emzy had a blast with the other pups. Met a few cute new puppies. The owners were pretty nice. We're in the process of moving to Coventry Hills June 20 2022 so this is going to be our closet dog park it looks like. Great parking area too! Not sure how far the offleash park extends. Going to have to adventure out this place a bit with a few more visits and update
Fully fenced dog park, no access to the creek from the off-leash area, take bug spray in the summer months, dress warm in the winter no wind break. It is a nice place to exercise your dog without worry. Can be muddy if wet outside from rain or snow. Enjoy your walk I am sure your dog will also!
Wildflowers, bees, doggies, grasses, and crisp morning air walks in the best park in Canada.
Ok dog park. It’s the closest to us and the more populated so a decent place for dogs to socialize. It can get messy in wet weather. Plenty of parking. And yes an absolute Wind tunnel
Great park! Owners are respectful about picking up after their dogs and with having 3 I’ll be picking up one pile and someone will usually come up to me and tell me another had done their business or pick it up for me. Any sign of a fight and the owner will leave with their dog. I won’t go to another park.
Nice fenced area with hills and places to ‘hide’ if your dog gets overwhelmed. Also a benches for humans to sit.
Great area! Access to the creeks, biking pathways, public rest areas with benches and a fenced area for aslking dogs off leash. Love this pathway with its look out points and location
This is one of the largest outdoor areas in Calgary for fun activities. It has a fenced zone that is very suitable for dogs when they are off leash. A lot of people come here with their dogs and for the most part, most dogs are friendly to one another. You even have a lot of people pet your dogs too especially if they're cute. But other zones in the park that are not fenced are not for dogs when they're off leash. You will get a ticket if you are caught with your dog off leash in a leash zone. This park is very suitable for walks, run, and for leisure strolls and bike rides. The air is very fresh, clean and unadulterated, and there is a river that comes all the way from Red deer, which makes it a more natural and serene environment. Please check it out.
It was amazing the Cubs were a having car soap box derbi on the other side of the dog park fence.
Unfortunately there was a dog owner who did not have control of her dog and it attacked our young lab and bit a chuck out of his ear. If you are at this dog park be aware of a dog named Loki , medium sized mixed breed , possibly between a lab and a blue heeler, black coat and slight peppered color on his face. If you don’t have control of your dog off leash and your dog has any aggressive or dominant tendencies toward other dogs, please refrain from going to the dog park; keep your dog on a leash if you insist on going.
