Usually I love this dog park, but whatever the city did this year sure messed it up. You cant even get to the park without walking through a very unsafe mud pit! Very unsafe especially for the older residents who use the park
Great small local off leash park… quite small but it does cover both sides is 14th street, with a walking over pass between the sections
Love bringing my dog here. It's clean and has a ton of space. Parking is great as there are many options depending where you want to enter the park. The Lot parking lot itself is tiny and holds maybe 8 cars if everyone parks properly. But across 14 St there's a lot of open street parking. I've noticed a fair amount of garbage receptacles around the park so cleaning up after your pet never seems to be an issue in my experience. All the other dog owners I've encountered have been very kind and generous. All have been very responsible in cleaning up after their pets, too.
Great experience. I have a mentally disabled dog, a senior dog & a puppy, the owners and pets are fantastic, everyone is very fast to react to any situations that may arise between any dogs. I feel very confident and welcome here at this park, I also bring my kids and it's beautiful. There is a forest with paths that go through it for the dogs, a bridge they can cross.
The dog loves this park and the people are friendly
Secret hidden gem Beautiful Huge sunny and open/trees off leash area! And the people who frequent this park are all super friendly and their dogs are all great!! Lots of walks here
Love this off leash dog park. Great sense of community. My dog gets anxious at the Sue Higgins park where there are mainly bigger dogs but does not get anxious here where there are relatively more small dogs. Takes about 30- 45 min to walk both halves of the park.
I love this park. The west side is so nice in the trees.
You really need to be looking for this dog park. Not many parking spots and a little difficult to find. A really large off leash area with a few benches throughout. Some dirt patches near the entrance, but not anywhere else. The grass is kept short and the weeds are mostly in check. There's limited shade and no amenities.
I'm glad to see that the holes in the fence have been repaired. Tragically, one puppy lost his life last week after getting through a hole in the fence. This is a lovely community park for dogs and owners to socialize. It seems there are still many people not cleaning up after their pets.
