This is a great dog park. Large space with varied terrain. It's easy to have your dog socialize with others or to find a little space to yourself. Also has a great view of the city.
Really lovely and beautiful place to walk your dogs, especially some small trails among the forest or by the Bow River. I met few mean owners of dogs there, and that's only one I don't like it.
This is one of my dog's favourite off-leash parks. Lots of room to run, fields, and forests. For owners, it has a stunning view of the downtown core.
The different terrain of the park leads to an interesting walk for my dogs. The treed area has multiple paths. The long paths with open area offers running space. And the view on the North side is wonderful. The accumulated ice on the path can be challenging, particularly on the South entrance up the hill. However, this is a seasonal occurrence at all parks. If you bring cleats during the melt/freeze cycle the paths are safer to navigate.
Open spaces, clusters if trees with trails, a great slope side trail option. Spectacular view of downtown and the valley below! Can continue walk at end of off leash park down trails to the Bow River and explore the trail system there. One of the best in Calgary!
Great off leash dog park that has lots of trails and a large area to explore.
This a beautiful large park centrally located in Calgary. Great views of the Bow River Valley and downtown/west Calgary. This park is not fenced and only the top of the hill is off leash. There are several large parking areas with waste disposal at two of the main areas this is one of the drawbacks to this park; it is huge and doesn’t have waste bins throughout, please pack out your pooches poo There are massive open fields and fun trails throughout the treed sections that dogs love to play chase in. Can be slippery in the winter/spring.
Really nice park, we go here once a week and have never seen anyone being irresponsible with there dogs I.e dogs are always picked up after and put on leashes if they are excited. Not to mention the park is beutiful, I once even saw two moose wondering around
Beautiful view and every time I go I have a great time with people and dogs.
Love bringing our dog here. There is so much land to walk and allow the humans to get some exercise. Most dogs are well behaved. The views are spectacular. There is a tradition of decorating the forest at Christmas time and it looks so lovely.
