Our non-profit, parent-cooperative playschool focuses on providing enriching and fun learning experiences for 3 and 4 year old children!
Operating in the Lynnwood Community Hall in the west end of Edmonton, our non-profit, parent-cooperative playschool focuses on providing enriching and fun learning experiences for 3 and 4 year old children. In addition to strengthening socialization skills and learning accepted behaviors (i.e. how to compromise, be respectful of others, and problem-solve), our playschool provides a place where your child can gain a sense of self, explore, play with his/her peers, grow intellectually, and build confidence. Our playschool is one of the few in Edmonton that are non-rostered with no parent duty days – we employ two highly qualified staff to teach our classes. This is helpful for those parents who could use a few extra hours every second day to run errands or relax! You can have complete confidence that your children are in the best hands; learning, making new friends, and having fun! Our programming is unique in that in addition to the standard programming of pre-literacy, early numeracy, crafts, and learn though play, we also have science, yoga, cooking, and spanish! Another great part of our program is that you may be eligible for a subsidy that would pay for most of your tuition, and if not, don’t worry because at least you can claim it on your taxes as a Child Care Expense!
