GO FIND ANOTHER WENDY’S - JUST RIPOFFS, BAD FOOD, AND DISAPPOINTMENT HERE! I do love Wendy’s, and I’ve had some great food and service at this location years ago. Just moved back to town and had a terrible time here. The drive-thru lights were off and the menu lights were turned off making it impossible to read. I knew what I wanted though, and didn’t think anything of it. Was handed a cold burger and cold fries at the window. But nowadays a combo meal costs almost $20 …and I was not about to pay that for cold food that had been sitting around. Went back, asked for fresh food that was hot and the guy looked at me like he was gonna shoot me between the eyes. In the end, he obviously microwaved the burger and put my fries back in the fryer so they were inedible from soaking up so much extra grease. Yes, 100% disgusting food, 100% a complete rip-off. Go somewhere else!
These guys have some silly rules. I came through here with a trailer and they wouldn’t serve me because I couldn’t get my truck through the drive through. I understand that they can’t have people walking through all the time but I think parking your 30 foot trailer on the back street and walking up is a pretty good reason for an acceptation. Especially if your dining room closes before 8. If you find yourself in the building for some reason the staff at Tim’s are awesome! Go get something there.
Whenever I go to Wendy’s I always have a troubling experience with the staff that work there, especially at the drive through. They are rude, impatient, and have terrible customer service skills. Definitely need to have staff members with proper customer service training because the way that they act now is a bad representation. I am not able to add what I want to my order before they rush you through the driver through. Mean looks from staff and refusing to sell lemonade? I love Wendy’s but this one needs new staff or should honestly be shut down.
Food is always good, orders are always correct. I always find my drink has a weird taste, mostly the fruitopia and sprite unless I'm just crazy but they always have a weird after taste. But over all its pretty goodFood: 3/5
Something is not right, here. I was the only car in drive thru and it took something longer than 5 minutes for a basic order of 3 combos. But the end of the world, but certainly much longer than it should. The fries were bad enough that they should've been thrown out. Super old, not warm and lots of broken end-pieces. My Burger was good, but the outside of the wrapper had mayo on it that made a mess on my clothes, so that's a bit irritating. My kids were happy with theirs. I've never had a problem at this location previously but they need to do better because there are 4+ competitors less than 2 minutes away.
I love Wendy's. Corporate, please do something about this location. I have ordered here three times and it's taken about 15 minutes each time in the drive-thru. I wouldn't mind the wait if the food was good, but every time, it disappoints. The driest Wendy's burgers I've ever had, the soggiest fries, and always a mistake or two; today: cranberries in my Caesar salad. Why?!? I HATE cranberries. I also paid for extra sour cream for my potato and didn't get it. ... This location is consistently bad and I wish it wasn't so, or I would regularly visit!
Went there last night and spent upwards of $50 on chicken sandwiches and sides. Horrible. Chicken was flat, hard, and obviously sitting for a long time. Not fresh at all. Fries were not fresh either and I suspect were dumped back into the fryer. To add insult to injury, the server at the drive thru was incredibly rude over the fact that I didn’t know how to fold properly the drink container. He actually barked at me that I was doing it wrong. This is not the first time I was subjected to rudeness from the drive thru. We will not be returning. Food and attitude match one another. You can get fresh bbq up the road for less.
Excited to try the new breakfast menu. Downloaded the app. Registered. Found a $2 off coupon for the bacon, egg, swiss croissant. Hit the drive-through to meet an employee that was less than happy. Ordered and proceeded to Waited over 10 minutes at the drive-through window for my order. He presented me with the POS machine without even a hello or any acknowledgement. He was also unimpressed that I presented the QR code for the coupon. After I get the order and to my office, I discover my sandwich is egg & bacon on a Hamburger bun with processed cheddar cheese. What is going on with these restaurants?
Worst Wendy's out there. Two men run the whole restaurant. No gloves when handling food, they take orders and payments/cash and then go back to manhandling your food. Never seen anyone wash their hands. Wait times are through the roof, just to get raw fries and cold chicken. Happened once and gave them the benefit of the doubt but truly horrible experiences both times
Worst Wendy's ever. I used to love their chicken burger but since the ownership has changed in Okotoks its horrible. The chicken was half the size of the bun and it was so cold. Staff is definitely not as friendly.
