Browns Socialhouse Okotoks

First time eating here. Ambiance 7/10 Service 9/10 Food 9/10 Pleasantly surprised, I went in not having any pre conceived notions. The dishes we ordered were all well presented and all tasted pretty good.

First off my apologies, I was hungry when we got our food and started eating before pictures. Absolutely delicious food. Service was great! A little slow in the kitchen but the waitress was amazing! Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was the inconsistency of food. 2 steaks order both med rare and only 1 came perfect. Other was over cooked and way to salty. If the kitchen stepped there game up a little bit, it would’ve been 5 stars for sure!!

We came here for a big family lunch celebrating two birthdays. They did the required checks at the door, and we were quickly seated. Service was simply outstanding and our meals were all great portion size and great tasting. I would definitely come back here!

My husband and I dined here for the first time lastnight. My husband had his heart set on fish and chips and a beer on tap. After we were seated and set to order, we found out the fridge was broken, so only bottled beer was available. I think the hostess should have informed us as we would have gone elsewhere. I ordered the pub burger which was really good. The fries were just warm. My husband's fish was perfectly cooked but his fries were just warm along with not very many. He ordered gravy as did I, he got gravy, I didn't. It was enough to share though. The gravy isn't like any gravy we've tasted, more of a sauce. It almost had a tomato base to it. I ordered a glass of wine and my husband got water. Once we recieved our food, we were not checked up on once. I wanted another glass of wine but our waitress didn't check in with us. When it came time to pay, I needed to go find her. There was another couple holding their credit card for at least 10 mins waiting for their server to bring a machine. There were 2 other servers out in the covered patio serving other tables. Apparently, it was way busier than normal. So in my opinion, ask one of the other servers to check on other tables so they're not just left. Food was decent, service was non attentive. Disappointing experience.

Place has a nice vibe to it. Loved the look and feel of the outdoor patio. I 100% suggest the crunchy cauliflower as a starter. Amaazing. Waitress seemed a little ticked off, perhaps she had a bad day, until it came time to tip otherwise it was a decent place to stop at and right off the 2A.

This is my second time here. Once again, the food was great and the server was excellent. Also, an extremely clean wash room. There was a group of us and everyone was very happy! Browns Social House This is our first time at this location. I ordered a Smokey Hamburger with a side of Ceasar Salad. The meal was very good and the hamburger was tasty. The establishment is very clean including the washroom, and there is an outside area where we had our meal nice atmosphere. The servers where very friendly and I was asked by several staff if I needed assistance while I was looking around.

Extremely disappointed. Service from our waitress was good despite the food. I ordered one baja fish taco and one crispy chicken taco with the garlic parm fries, my partner ordered the the Cajun steak. When our food came out — the temperature of the food was cold. A big piece of butter was on top my partners steak and was literally still FROZEN. Steak wasn’t even warm enough to melt the butter. We expressed our concerns to the waitress and within a few minutes the manager I’m assuming was the manager came out and let us know he heard we were unhappy with our meals. Again, we expressed our concerns but his reaction was very disingenuous and very much got the vibe that he didn’t really care. I was starving so I didn’t bother to ask for new food, my partner instead ordered the steak + pasta, and as the manager delivered my partner their plate of food, continued to speak to them as if they were dumb. Thankfully this meal was very good. So we are happy about that. I’d also like to mention the restaurant was not busy at this time, there was maybe two other party’s dining in the restaurant as well.

Decided to treat my sister to a very nice meal. Sadly we were disappointed in the quality of the food given the exorbitant prices. I prefer quality over quantity but the Tuna Poke portion was hard to find $25 and how do you charge $35 for 7oz sirloin that I can BBQ better? Gyoza was OK but $15.50, really? Dessert fudge brownie for $13 was delicious, I will admit. Carlos our server was great and we lucked out with one of the quiet, private booths. Sorry, but only 3 stars overall, which is high considering something made my gut grumble all night. Great staff though, on the phone and in person.

Ethan was a very friendly server and tended to me and my dates needs very promptly, food was phenomenal as always, definitely will be coming back to browns anytime I am in Okotoks.Recommended dishesHamburger, Side of Gravy, Spicy Tuna Roll, Warm Double Chocolate Brownie

Waited an hour for our app to show up wrong , decided to cancel it however it somehow showed up again and was still wrong . Was there almost two hours and our mains still hadn’t shown up . Our waitress was nice however not very good at her job, we were left with empty drinks/no drinks. We ended up leaving, told the manager on our way out however he didn’t seem to care just a had a stupid smirk on his face .
