New Mr Spud Cafe

The new mr spud cafe in okotoks Overall, not worth it. Any toppings on the burgers and such you needed to pay for. Any toppings. As well as sides. sides do not come with the meals. You must pay extra. This was their garden salad. It was $7. It is a family owned business, and honestly the wife was super rude. Not friendly. When I asked her for stuff I’d have to follow her around my table cause she wouldn’t stop to listen, and when she brought stuff like napkins she just threw them on the table. They’ve been voted best fish and chips but I’ve had WAY better fish AND chips. Don’t recommend.

Had a burger with onion rings and one of the best I've eaten in a while. Really no reason to eat at McDonalds or other franchise fast food any more. Similar in price and 10 times better. Bonus is a local family run business.

I have been enjoying the Quality fish and chips at Mr. Spuds for more than 15years. The service and food has always been a very consistent excellent. 10/10 highly recommend The burgers arenalso 10/10 the best!!

A cozy spot to eat in Okotoks. Winner of the clean plate award today for a double bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries. The burger was excellent, served on a soft, fresh bun while the fries were crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. 10 out of 10 would recommend!

We were in Okotoks for an event and after stopped in to Mr. Spud Cafe and what am AMAZING surprise!!!! My wife had the clubhouse and my daughter had the dumplings and I had the Halibut and fries. The food was amazing and great. The cafe is run by a husband and wife who are super friendly and you could tell by the meal it was truly a home cooked meal. Any time we are in Okotoks we will for sure be making a stop back for another great meal. Highly recommend the place if your ever in Okotoks, trust me you won’t be disappointed. This place is the best!!!!!! Very reasonably priced as well.

Straight up good food, good portion and good price. Is it the fanciest place ever? no - Is it spacious? no That's the charm - a hidden gem and they work their butts off!

Just a wonderful family-owned restaurant in the heart of Okotoks. I've been coming here for years as it always hits the spot for me. Simple but delicious food especially their burgers, wonton soup, and fish & chips. Family-friendly and very affordable. Definitely recommend!

I was in Okotoks to meet friends for dinner. We decided to check out new Mr, Spud cafe for the first time. We were super impressed with the food!!! Strongly recommend fish and chips and Wor wonton soup. Fish and chips was light and perfect crisp. I love fish and chips but hate the feeling of heaviness after. I did not get that at all with their fish and chips. Wor wonton was huge! It even came with noodles which was nice. Also, their iced tea is so refreshing and DELISH?! They also had a kids menu. Our almost 2 year old hang the kids fish and chips and absolutely loved it! Kid-friendliness: Super accommodating. They have one high chair and two booster seats. Parking: Easy to find parking

Stopped in for an old comfort-food standby. The burger with its hand-made patty and inordinately addictive fries are a staple. The owners are always friendly and say hello as I'm passing by. This is an old favourite and I'm happy to see them still going. They were clearly taking sanitation very seriously as well.

Even though my and my family were first timers at Mr Spud, the expectations were high. Two years ago we heard about this great little place in Okotoks and finally decided to give it a try. Honest menu , great taste and very friendly customer service. It is a little bit unusual for me as a customer finding club house sandwich and burgers in the same menu than wonton soup and fish and chips. But that was not a deal breaker.
