Not bad for a quick burger, but oh, the price and service let's it down. 1 meal and 1 burger £20.... The restaurant was cold, one kiosk was broken. Once ordered, the food didn't take long. However, the staff member asked me if the order was right? All staff looked miserable and sad, which is always disappointing. She forgot to add on 3 sauce sachets of mayo at a cost to me of 30p each. The loaded fries were tasty, and the crispy bacon bits were tasty. The double cheese burger was good, but the bun was cold to the touch. The ice machine didn't work, luckily the drinks were cold. The crispy chicken burger was nothing special, but it was crispy. So don't be fooled by the Wendy's hype, it's in-between McDonald's and 5 guys.
Just went for the ‘Frosty’! Wendy’s version of a McFlurry. It’s halfway between a milkshake and ice cream. Really good. Didn’t have the anything else, but the restaurant is clean and people seemed to be enjoying their food which looked good. It’s located right in the middle of the Maidstone high street so you can’t miss it.
Very tasty food. I had the Dave's Double Combo, which was a double burger with salad, cheese pickles and sauce with fries and drink. I added bacon to the burger and upgraded the fries to the Baconator Fries cheese sauce and bacon loaded fries. The burger was great - very tasty patties and the cheese, bacon, salad, pickles and sauce were all balanced well. The Baconator fries were superb. Nice and crisp on the outside and soft in the middle, but the cheesy sauce and bacon topping was really, really good. The bacon is cooked so well - nice and crispy but not burnt, just right. That was the same with the rashers of bacon in the burger. It was very busy and took a while to get the food. I didnt see this as a problem though - the place has just opened up only a few days ago and there has been a lot of hype so good marketing on Wendy's behalf. We went at lunchtime so was always going to be busy anyway. Staff were friendly despite clearly under pressure. In terms of cost, it is more than the usual fast food outlets and comparable with Five Guys. It is however a clear step up from McD and BK. Very good.
Just about the worst fast food dining experience I've ever had! It's half term and the Kids wanted to try Wendy's Maidstone. Never again. Twice I had to return food, wrong or cold. We eventually ate 30 mins after ordering! Bacon in burgers when not ordering it so be careful if you're Jewish/Muslim. Ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers, were just plain burgers and really cold. The 2 Dave doubles we ordered came out as Baconators. Staff looked like they'd had enough and couldn't of give a monkeys any more. Saw one lad dump a load of burgers as they'd been sitting there ages. Don't bother going, Taco bell's up the road, cheaper, tastier and damn quicker.
Quick service, excellent food. Having finally tried Wendy's in the USA, I was impressed. Although the UK branch didn't have the BBQ option I had over the pond, it was still a solid 9/10 from all three of us. A little more expensive than the golden arches, but way way better.Food: 5/5
It was very nice to have a Wendy's in my hometown as only had it in the states. The burger was nice I find it not grease just right and the bacon now that was done just right and it's great to have free refills
Delicious food. Last time I had Wendy's was in the states many years ago and this is better than I remembered. Food is very tasty but then you do pay a premium over similar fast food chains like McDonald's. The baconator with baconator cheesy chips is highly recommended.Food: 5/5
Ordering food is very easy. Food tastes just amazing. Portion sizes are more than enough, I feel full . Great service and would definitely be returning here. Prices are a little higher than other common fast food restaurants, but for the quality of food is definitely worth it and completely understandable.
Fast Food outlet... wothout the speed! Cross between Burger King and Five Guys. Food was as expected, however ridiculous service... Took over 30minutes for a takeaway order... Only to find missing sauces. Not off to a good start as in its opening week. Couldn't be bothered to go back to complain. Will visit when they hopefully solve service issues and actually becomes a fast food place! Eating in would be woeful too, as no straws, napkins or sauces as well as no seating left... over hyped at moment... Avoid for first few months I think...
Food was really tasted. Baconator that was delicious but it was a little bit greasy maybe it was my fault I leave it in the wrap for a bit long. Spicy Chicken Burger was lovely and fries nice and hot and frosty was beautiful. Staff were friendly
