I always get brought in immediately, if not within the first 5 minutes of arriving. The NPs are kind, sociable, knowledgeable and considerate. I love how they handle my kids and their check-ups / vaccines. I was on the waitlist for under a year and it’s been well worth it.
I was a patient here for a few years. During that time, they switched my practitioner at least three times. When I went in for a medication change I was referred out and have been just seeing that doctor since. The nurses are indeed available for same day appointments if you call first thing in the morning. However, I usually had a lot of trouble getting a hold of anyone. I once just kept calling as it was important and then I overheard them making fun of me while I was in the waiting room. Yes I did need to call five times, for a problem that wasn't treated seriously enough and now I'm having long term issues. This place is basically just a walk-in clinic that you wait days to get in to.
Been a patient for 11 years. Moved out of the area within a 45 minute drive nearly 4 years ago. Today, we're told, by mail, that we've been kicked out of the practice, with little notice to find a new healthcare provider because we 'reside outside the catchment area'. An emergency room would provide better care.
As a family, we have been with this clinic for more than 4 years, unfortunately the level of service has been declining very badly over the past 1-2 years, we've reached a point where booking an appointment to see the nurse for an issue that either myself or my wife has, the appointment would be after a month ... Literally, it takes a month or even more to just get to see someone. Additional to that the same day appointments that are available, are only per the judgment of the receptionist answering the calls, so if that receptionist "believe" the issue is valid then you would get an appointment, if not then good luck. Very unfortunate that this is how things have tuned out, this place used to be very good.
I am very unwell due to my severe pain I have been told by two surgeons I should be on stronger pain medication and I am very unstable because of my pain They make a nurse make choices for you which is normally a no but the doctor will explain to you no. My feet are severely deformed my ankles collapse I can't walk I can't live a normal life I used to work full time and push through the pain I went on disability for help not to stay like this.... the bare minimum would be to properly medicate my pain so I can walk my pain is so bad I need my fiances help to walk to the washroom and when he isn't home I'm very unwell.due to pain. They manipulate you that they care but if they cared they would trust me with a pain med that works for my disorder
If I could give a negative star, I would. Every time I try to call in, I'm waiting for a long time on the phone just to speak to a receptionist. I've even tried calling at different times of the day. Second, I find they are not thorough at all. I've had concerning health issues for the last 3 years that I've been with the clinic that haven't been looked further into. I've asked about them and all they ask me is, "well, do you feel okay?" I finally just went to a naturopath that I pay for out of my own pocket, to get the ball rolling on these issues. Lastly, I've been waiting over a week to get a callback for a test date, that apparently they need to book. Again, I've called three times in the last 2 days, and am on hold for a very long time. I'd suggest to get your email service set up. Maybe that might make things quicker. At least then people could get their request in and not have to take time to wait on hold. I have a day job, I can't be on the phone the entire day waiting for someone to pick up.
Very attentive, kind and competent staff. Polite reception team. Amazing with kids. I have never waited longer than 5 minutes past my appointment time. After switching from a local doctor I am so relieved to finally have quality care for my family. Highly recommend.
Phone lines aren’t answered when they say they will be- 9:30am is when they start answering phones yet I call at 9:45 and get nothing. I wait 15 minutes until their lunch is over and the phone lines still say they’re on lunch. I’ve been with this clinic for over 5 years and am not even sure who my NP is because of all the contract positions. They are overworked and under resourced and it results in poorly delivered health care, no follow ups and I’ve had to re explain things 3 times because of new NPs and lack of proper case notes. I appreciate how they TRY to deliver healthcare but it does not translate practically.
The best Team a person could ask for. Right from the office staff to the NPs. You should all be very proud of the services you provide and more clinics run and managed like this one is the future of good health care. Keep up the great work!
The nurses are very friendly and thorough! The receptionists seem miserable though.. And they should really let their patients know when they are closing for a snow day... I showed up and they were closed.
