This is an essential service. This is *MY* experience. 
It's bare bones. You detox in a big room with 3 beds for women and I don't know how many for the men. There's no support. You're forced to go to AA nightly otherwise you're kicked out. The food was disgusting. Staff are apathetic to clients. When/if you're sent to the hospital, the staff come in with you and make a big deal. I was personally singled out, was entertainment for the others and when I turned to staff they couldn't care less. I was never so happy to leave.

Amazing Staff. Great food.  This place makes a bad situation into a transitional period, with a wealth of resources for those who genuinely want to get better. Bring your own hangers for clothes though!
