I ordered dinner here from takeout and we were very impressed with the food. I love that their sides are also delicious. If you like spicy food, I’d recommend ordering the spicy garlic potatoes.nThe only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the rice. But otherwise everything else was amazing.

Wanas specializes in halal Syrian cuisine with an amazing business model which is to feed those in need for free!nn Not much street parking as this place is always packed.nn This place specializes in Syrian cuisine, we got the beef and chicken platters which were made fresh and tasted amazing.nn The hours are 11 am - 12 am which is pretty cool if you ever have a craving for a Syrian meal!nn There are some seatings for this place but it gets packed pretty quickly.nn Customer service is amazing! The people on cash are very passionate and always make great suggestions about what to order.

We had such a great dining experience here. We ordered the chicken Shawarma wrap and shared between two people as they are huge! We also had a side of rice which was good for two people as well. The workers were very nice and very welcoming. They took time to ask us where we were traveling from and even spoke in Spanish with us. Everyone from my party of 7 gave it two thumbs up!

This place is great! Definitely neighborhood GEM ! Great service, owner / staff very nice people. Because I did not want pickles or garlic sauce this time, they offered me extra rice delicious!, fries or salad. Very thoughtful. Food is consistently great, thank you!n***************nEnjoyed the chicken plate with rice very much - full of flavor! Even the salad was good. Price very reasonable, quick friendly service, definitely a neighborhood GEM!

Amazing flavours, quality, portions, and value - definitely one of the best shawarma spots in the GTA!nnServing up Syrian style shawarma and the classic offerings, everything I've tried so far at Wanas has been outstanding. Shawarma is cooked and seasoned to perfection and cut to order. Ingredients are fresh, good quality, and food is prepared well. I honestly don't think you can go wrong ordering anything here - everything is done with a high degree of care and flavours are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised that their poutine was also delicious and even had squeeky curds - honestly better than a lot of burger and poutine joints in Toronto.nnExcellent value and the owners seem like genuinely great people. Definitely my new go to shawarma spot and worth a trip to try it yourself even if you don't live in the area.nnHighly recommend!
