Situated in east Chinatown, Batifole is a surprise dining destination. Opened in 2004 by Chef Jean-Jacques Texier and now re-opened by the new Chef-Owner Pascal Geffroy it has charmed Toronto with its remarkable and reasonably priced French cuisine.

This is a long due review for this place that holds a special place for me. Reached out to Pascal a few months ago as I had planned to have my wedding reception at his restaurant. I can tell you this was probably one of the best decision I had ever made. The food was just amazing. The service was outstanding and the venue was just perfect. Every single guest had a blast and so did the bride and groom. Thanks again to Pascal and his team for making this moment very special for us. We will be back soon !

Really nice restaurant. Went there on a summer evening and sat on the patio. Prices were higher than I expected. Service was ok. What I liked was the table visit by the owner. Definitely fits into the neighborhood and I will be going back often as the food was very delicious.

We went here for my wife's birthday and we cannot say enough good things about Batifole. The atmosphere was casual and fun, the service was attentive and friendly, and the food was amazing. Can't wait to go back again!

I really enjoyed my experience at Batifole. The food was amazing especially the dessert, mandarin souffle. The staff was attentive and the chef even came out to say hi and to see if we were enjoying everything. Very friendly vibe. We will definitely be returning for dinner

Best French restaurant in Toronto. Friendly, authentic and great tasting food. Not cheap but worth the trip.
