Walmart Supercentre

Called Customer Service on Sunday to check if they have a specific baby cough syrup, and was transferred to pharmacy, waited 5 minutes, then hung up on. Despite that pharmacy closed 15 minutes ago and I mentioned I already tried them directly. Please at least be honest with your customers and do not hang up on them even if you have no digital system to check stock for customers nor ability to check for items.

I visited this Walmart after dinner, and as I entered, one of the employees mumbled a question at the entrance. I asked him to repeat himself, and I realized he was directing me to the “returns” area. Neither my mother nor I were carrying anything to return, so I politely asked why he assumed we were returning items. He replied that he asks everyone. However, when the next customer, who appeared to be from the same background as him, entered, he was greeted with a smile and a warm welcome.nnWalmart, please train your employees better! If you're going to station someone at the front entrance, at least ensure they’re not making assumptions or treating customers unfairly. Honestly, I ONLY came here when I really need something that other store doesn’t carry. I don’t enjoy shopping here at all—your store seems to treat everyone like a potential thief. Meanwhile, other stores like Costco and Superstore manage to make customers feel respected and valued without such negative interactions

Loss of a star because Walmart seemingly has discontinued carrying gluten free products - there used to be a lot of choice it has dwindled to very little choice so I'm shopping more at Fresh Co at the other end of the Trail.nnOn the other hand for staples, milk, meat, fresh produce they are wonderful. The staff is always super helpful and they still have cashiers on the tills which is a big plus. Store and bathrooms are always clean. All around a great place to shop.

My husband was there to pick up a few groceries and went though the self check out. The lady there rang his items through and he said that he thought she may have overcharged him. She said no and pointed out that there was a deposit on the creamer. He let her know that it wasn't $5 worth. She looked at him like he had 3 heads and walked away. He followed her and said this needs to be fixed. She brought him over to customer service because he obviously wasn't leaving. Then the lady at customer service said the same thing as the other cashier. He said, ring all my items through & if it comes up the same then I will apologize. Guess what? They over charged him. No apology, nothing. Maybe you should train your staff better on how to deal with customers & to look into it instead of walking away. Absolute crap. I have a 4 year old niece who could do better.
