Save-On-Foods

Great place though much pricier than some other grocery stores. If they have a sale it's a great sale. Always good produce. The staff at the tills are always nice and seems like a good first job for local kids. They also seem to do a lot of community fundraisers and other community work. But the real highlight is the deep voiced dude in the meat department that calls me ma'am even though I think I'm too young to be a ma'am - haha. Reminds me of how grocery stores were when I was a kid. Oh there's a kid who does the online grocery shopping who seems really stoned. A friend agreed.

This is my personal favourite Save On out of the two in St.Ablert. Pharmacy staff are always so amazing and helpful. The store is also well kept but could sometimes use more check out lanes open.

I arrived there 7 minutes before closing time and a man, stood with his arm crossed at the door and rudely said that the store was close. When I mentioned that there was time left, he just repeated himself. I knew I had time since I was just getting veggies that I was missing for my recipe. He didn't let me in. No nice "sorry we are close" just rude. I took a picture of him and hopefully the store manager can give him a lesson on manners. Not interested in going back to a store that hires such rude people. Edit: This guy that was blocking the door didn't wear any security vest or clothes from the store. I didn't look close enough to see if he had identification.

Save-On Foods is another of my favorites for groceries. There is plenty of Free Parking & Handicap Parking . Public washrooms available. There is "No Charge" for the Shopping Carts, However they do charge for the grocery bags now so you may want to bring your own so as to cut down on expenses. The store is very clean, & set up very well . The staff -- very friendly & helpful as well if you need help with anything. The prices tend to be a bit higher on most items though, so please watch for the sales.

I'm upset that my "fresh butter ball turkey" is frozen solid! The meat lady promised me it was not! 30 bucks down the toilet and a day lost... very unhappy.. moving my business to another store.....
