THE WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Food products are going bad left on the shelf, with open, and damaged products on the shelf. Staff have no loyalty to the company, many empoyees don't even wear uniforms. Shelf stocking staff, ignorantly block isles with social gatherings and unpacked crates. Absolutely zero customer service skills at all. I have been accused of stealing and scamming by management when I tried to make a return damaged products in the past. I REALLY DONT UNDERSTAND HOW WALMART DOESNT SHUT THIS LOCATION MANAGER DOWN! ABSOLUTELY THE WORST WAL MART IN NORTH AMERICA! Literally, the entire staff should be fired

The first Canada Supermarket Experience happened in this Walmart in my whole life! New comer need all you can find here: Meat, Egg, Milk and Pot! Can’t believe the nearest Walmart in Burnaby is in New Westminster

Not impressed with this location at all.nI’ve been here multiple times and always disappointed by the store and staff.nThis evening Dec 04 2023 I went up the escalator and was absolutely disgusted walking into Walmart. I continued inside and the disgust was on going all through the store. Condoms at the entrance and garbage throughout the store. Yogurt on the floor sitting warm staff standing off to the side on their phones with no concern about anything around them. I passed by the frozen chicken breasts and they were brown so I had to walk out of the store ‍nI definitely won’t be shopping at this location in the future because of the conditions.nNot to mention the majority of staff smelt like weed when passing by them this is extremely un professional in my opinion.

Bought a gift card and asked the check out lady if she had a coin to scratch it. She gave me keys instead. The rigdes on the key started to tear the page. I stopped and tried to scratch the rest with the blunt end but it was too late. The letters ripped off in front of the clerks eyes.nnShe sent me to customer service were a manager who refused to give her name said she cannot do anything for me. She said its common sense not to scratch it too hard, in an insulting way to my intelligence. She said its my fault and she cannot refund me or give me a discount on the next gift card.nnShe then refused to give her name, her higher up manager came, he also refused to give the customer service managers name and gave his name which is Pawan. I told him I am too upset to talk to him about the way the customer service manager treated me and i will leave a review. He condescendingly told me go be happy with your life somewhere else while I walked away.nnThe gift card cost cents to make, I clearly did not redeem it. It's unacceptable that walmart customer service believes I deserve to take the loss on this one because I should have had common sense. It was an accident due to the lack of coins and my nails being cut too short that the check out lady handed me keys with sharp ridges. It is not a sign of me lacking common sense. I am more angry at the treatment I received than the money I lost. The mentality of customer service manager was extremely cheap and I believe they didn't align with walmarts core values as a customer service orientated company.

Walmart has been a great boost for my career and am grateful for the opportunity to be able to work as a Customer Service Manager part time as an international student which helped me achieve the Canadian work experience I need. Learned a lot working at this place and glad to be able to incorporate the learnings I had with my current job now.
