Inventory management at Walmart sucks. I saw something online and it showed in stock at this Walmart. I called in to ensure they had the item in stock. The person at the end of the call assured me that they had 2 in stock. I drove 30 min to this Walmart to pick the item up. The store was decent sized and was actually cleaner than most other Walmarts. Unfortunately my trip was a waste of my time as they did not have the item in stock. I drove home and decided to order it online to pick it up at another Walmart store. Apparently the online site finally showed out of stock after I hit confirm to purchase on my online order. Inventory management system really needs to be updated. We are living in the world of e-commerce. Get your act together!
Purchased a book as a Christmas gift; unfortunately, the person wished to have a different book, so when I tried to return the book, I was told it was a "final sale" item and that people try to return books that they have photocopied. Nothing on their website says anything about books, unless they are marked as being final sale called Customer Service to confirm. When I tried calling the Candiac store to address the issue, I was told that it was considered "finale sale" because of author rights What does Indigo, Renaud Bray, and Archambault sell, then?!. I told the lady that I had returned books to other stores before and never had any issues, to which she responded and I quote, " Well, return it to one of those stores instead" - in the rudest tone. A very polite way of telling me to f*** off. I recommend that the manager review the corporate policies, review customer service etiquette with the team, and inform customers of store specific "final sales".
After the experience at Walmart Chateauguay we went to this one and to our surprise........NO SERVICE at the electronics department, their's only one person with the keys to open the games section and that person well wasn't there for at least 15~20 minutes, I asked to the only associate present at that time to call someone, that associate didn't know what to do so he ignored our request.....
Very bad service of return. The counter scanned duplicate then let me going to service counter to return? And a woman at that counter said " it not a big deal, if you are unhappy you go to other store" very rude and stupid.

No stock? I have to go to other Walmarts because this former Target store is out of what I need regularly. The franchise owner is the problem?
Love this place! You can find everything.
Big, clean and not too busy when I stopped by. Everything is well organized and easy to find. Employees are courteous. Definitely notice a difference in Walmart quality compared to more densely populated areas.
Went to customer service desk to check stock of an item from another store because i dont want to waste gas money for nothing. Clerk just told me there’s no way to check stock from another store. However, i have been to other walmart and they can all check stock status for me. I know she is just lazy without even trying. Very disappointed experience.
The store is nice. I did however feel that the back of the store is dark which was really odd. They have a great large discount section which is awesome and their staff seemed friendly. If you're looking for bathrooms, they're not in the usual Walmart spot. They're right to the left as you enter the store beside the pre-packed meals which is a bit off putting.
