I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with both the product quality and the customer service I encountered during my recent visit to your Rona store in Candiac.nYesterday, at approximately 2:00 PM, I purchased two toilet seats. However, when I returned home and attempted to install them, I found that one of the seats was broken. I immediately returned to the store to exchange the defective item, but the customer service manager refused to assist me.nI explained that the issue was not caused by me but was a result of a product quality defect. Unfortunately, the manager insisted that I could not return the item because I had opened the box. My response was that without opening the box, I could not have known the product was broken. Despite this explanation, the manager still refused to process the return or exchange.nI asked to speak with a supervisor, but the manager claimed she was in charge and would not escalate the matter. At this point, I felt that my concerns were being ignored, and the situation was becoming unnecessarily difficult.nFrustrated with the lack of support, I decided to purchase a replacement from Canac. I am extremely disappointed with Rona’s customer service and the failure to take responsibility for a defective product. It is disheartening that the burden of correcting a product error falls entirely on the customer.nGiven my experience, I have lost confidence in Rona’s ability to address customer concerns or handle quality claims effectively. I would like to inquire if I can return both toilet seats, even though I have installed one of them. I am willing to disassemble the installed seat and return both items, as I no longer wish to keep them.

Clean, bilingual staff helped us when we needed assistance and left us to browse as we wanted.

Was less than 24h late for a promotion on polymeric sand. They would not honor the promo price. I lost $100. Other stores Patrick Morin, Home Depot, Costco generally honor promotions especially if you just missed the promotion by less than 24h. Moving forward I will prioritize shopping elsewhere.

Bought plants advertised at 6.80$ as opposed to 16.98$. At the check out, registered at 12.98$ I advised the clerk of the mistake and went with employee outside to confirme 6.80$ price. They proceeded at said price but I reminded them of the consumer protection act of price accuracy law. Less then 10$ item is free when falsely priced. Manager was arrogant and showed me a part of the law. I showed her the entire article but she walked away. I returned items and went back out to take pictures of all the 6.80$ special prices signs and they magically evaporated. Shameful behaviour.
