Service was fast despite it being a busy evening. Our food was brought to our table within 15 minutes, which is the quickest I’ve ever seen at any restaurant. The wings were only okay and certainly nothing special. Was kind of surprised by the some what bland cheddar jalapeño sauce, maybe I’ll try something different next time around… The seasoned fries however were especially exceptional, I would definitely recommend the garlic parmesan fries, we absolutely loved them! Overall, the experience was very good & this is a decent spot in Timmins for a relatively inexpensive dinner. Will come again!
Don’t ask for customizing the food, they can server’s the menu Item’s and no more thing. Even can’t add some cheese to your fries But hood food and very funny atmosphere Don’t forgot to play at the very end of the restaurant
My boyfriend and I always love going for the AYCE wings on Wednesday nights because honestly it's just the best bang for your buck. We're not extremely picky wing people, the wings aren't huge but are a sufficient enough size and are a good mix between drums and flats. There are SO many flavours to choose from or you can combine and make up your own if you dont see something you like A HIGHLY UNLIKELY CASE, but I was also curious one time and decided to mix two random flavours together. Besides wings though, wacky's actually has quite the impressive game day snacker menu! Don't forget that Kids eat FREE on sundays and that Military/ First Responders and Police all get a discount! Also we finally tried the arcade on our last visit did and honestly, it was a pleasant surpise. There arent many games but we LOVE airhockey so we had alot of fun oh and yes, the staff is always extremely pleasant! Vegetarian options: They have vegetarian apps and plant based "chicken" wings!
We had a large group and arrived unannounced after our 1st choice had a water main burst.Explained we had been at a funeral and wanted to sit together. The manager at first just said it could not be done at all... then begrudgingly agreed to sit us in different sections. It took nearly an hour to get organized and 3 people left during the chaos. Once we finally were seated, a long table that could accommodate us all together opened. We asked the waitress in that section and she happily agreed. The food was good and our waitress was very nice. I felt the manager lacked a compassion to our situation and repeatedly said the same words. If we weren't so tired from the day and the rain we probably would have left.
Always yummy food, lots of wing sauces, lots of yummy poutines, good service. The boneless wing wrap is my favourite go too.. Good local beer, sports games and events, good hours. Game room arcade style in the back of the restaurant. In the end, very clean, solid place. *The only negative review I would have is when ordering from home, so take out or delivery, they are very bad for forgetting sauces; and sides!! Almost every order, even when you mention that it always happens. Ensure if ordering delivery you have time to deal with it all lol.
Went here on a work trip with my boss. They've got a crazy variety of wings and a bunch of other food options as well. Our server was friendly and attentive, but it took a bit of time to get our food. We enjoyed it overall though.Food: 4/5
I always come to wackys not expecting anything great, but I always get the greatest treatment from the bartenders and especially the manager Jay, he has the greatest care for his guests and puts the service and quality of food first. Greatest character and personality for this industry that I’ve seen in a long time. As well, always been taken care of the GM Tara she has to be the hardest worker I’ve ever seen.
Friday night 6 pm go in for wings. told a 15 min wait so we sit at bar. over an hour still not seate at table..then told we can't be seated. manger comes out to tell us kitchen is swamped. here are all these take out orders going out but walk in customers can't be served. they should have more staff to cover busy kitchen. or turn people away at door not an hour of waiting. will not be returning to timmins location.
Very slow service, most likely understaffed. Was seated and waited about a half hour, in that time frame no one came to ask us if we would like a drink, or even for a starter. We ended up just walking out and going to East Side Mario’s, no regrets there.
I loved the atmosphere and layout of the spot. Staff was friendly and continuously checked up on us. Menu is stylish and many options to choose from. The main attraction being the wings were great. Good quality and flavours were savoury. Prices were good. The place also includes an arcade in the back for entertainment. Lots of TVs with different channels to choose from. Seating is plentiful.
