Would recommend this place for servicing and maintenance, Andrei was helpful, very nice and patient. My car lost tire pressure and shacked a lot on highway at the beginning of a long 600KM trip and was towed to this dealer, he helped me arrange the checking and alignment and some other calibration. Price is fair, very efficient not like other dealers I’ve seen in Ontario. I’ll maybe come here to do my next maintenance
Although the service department was closed and couldn’t get updates on my current 2020 Tiguan, Alex and the whole team at VW Des Sources helped me out. In the end, I upgraded to a 2022 Black edition Tiguan and couldn’t be happier. Big thanks to the sales manager Matt who also helped out the transaction process even after the dealership was closed!! Thanks
We had to take our Jetta in twice in the past couple of weeks for some repairs. The first rep we consulted with was Pascal and Ali the second rep early today. Both greeted us warmly and professionally, it’s strange to say that going to the shop to get work done on the car was a pleasant one. We were consulted on what work needed to be done and given options. They were honest and had our best interest. We needed to leave our car overnight both times and used their shuttle service to bring us home. The driver was punctual, professional and courteous. The car was fixed at the estimated time. The technicians did great work on the repairs and I left the dealership completely satisfied with my experience with the team at Volkswagen Des Sources. Thank You!
Service team is not that great when it comes to installing a simple side mirror. I returned twice to try out a new piece and every time, the mirror looked distorted. In the end, it wasn’t installed properly. The service guy at the front desk seemed to not notice that there were wires in the way when he installed the mirror for the blind spot monitoring light which made the mirror distorted. I ended up installing it myself since the guy couldn’t be bothered to find the issue and kept saying that yeah it was weird, but its just a mirror… even though it was clear that the mirror itself wasn’t bad when not installed but it was when installed. Meaning that the install itself wasn’t done properly most likely. When that mirror costs 200$+tx, i expect it to be in good condition Also, when trying to get a replacement piece, they don’t call you when they receive it, you have to call yourself to check on them. Other than that, maintenance went okay as long as you don’t have anything special to do I guess… like a simple side mirror replacement.
Just had my car sold to me by Francois. After looking in this market for a long time, I was pleased to have finally landed on a salesman that was frank and honest with me about what I was buying. He was very responsive whenever I had questions, and patient with me taking my time to making a decision. A car is a big purchase and I appreciated his guidance and expertise. Merci François!
I booked an appointment at VW Des Sources with Elena Secara last Saturday to buy back my car. When I got there everything was ready and it only took 5 minutes to finalize everything! Elena had prepared everything in advance. Whenever I called she answered the phone without delay! It was probably the best customer experience I’ve had with VW. My main dealer was VW St-Laurent but I prefer dealing with Elena for her excellent customer service. Thank you Elena
Had a good experience dealing with George Maziotis. He went above and beyond to help us get our vehicle delivered even before the promised deadline and has always been responsive and welcoming. The onboarding/handover person at the time of the delivery could do a far better job if she wished to though. Overall a decent experience with VW des Sources that I can recommend.
Brought my car being sure the issue was the clock spring which is covered by extended warranty because it’s a common issue with VW. Instead, they told me there are some corroded pins on the control module behind the steering wheel. The part number is 5K0-959-542-B and it would cost 600$ to fix. Months later I took it to another VW and the problem was in fact the Clock Spring and cost me nothing to fix. They let me drive off with a car with malfunctioning airbags while I worried for months about how I was going to come up with 600$. I could never go back there.
We came to see Alex for a 2017 Tiguan. Everything was fine, price was negotiated, Alex promised to fix the small scratches and the broken rim on the side mirror. Came in to pick up the vehicle and the mirror was not fixed, the scratches untouched, and the price was not what was negotiated earlier. Luckily we had a printed out sheet with the price from the previous visit so that was corrected quickly. While we were waiting, they "fixed" the scratches with a generic pen and it made it worse than before. Big globs of raised, matte paint freckled all over the vehicle. I wasn't expecting the scratches to be fixed this way and didn't think we had to ask how it was going to be done. The mirror was not fixed and Alex said he ordered the wrong part. Okay, then perhaps he should have informed us before we arrived and we would have come in when everything was done. Rather than having to return again. It was a Friday and he said on Monday he will have the new part. You have 48 hours to cancel a contract by the way. One week later, and a couple of follow up calls/texts with him, still no replacement mirror. I would recommend anyone going in to always have these negotiations written down. Experience was disappointing.
Used to be the only garage I had confidence. They let few professionals to leave and it seems the qualify of service gone with them… Unfortunately
