I am so happy with the experience I had with BMW West Island. David Viau and Antoni Laliberté, in particular, made the entire process super simple. The service response time was like no other -- they were always available and respectful. Delivery day of my vehicle was smooth as everything was on time and very well organized. I am from Ontario and they even made sure to have the car plated with Ontario plates for me. I feel thankful to have been treated so well by the entire BMW West Island team! I would not hesitate to reach out if you’re looking for a new BMW!
I leased a car from them. So far i have taken my car for service twice. The second time they charged me $ for a loaner for 3 hrs. They did not clean my car and when i called to speak to someone NO ONE has bothered to call back. You would think for the prices you pay for these cars you would get proper service. I have had better service at other, less expensive brands. Btw i am also still waiting to receive winter mats going on my second winter with this car. The sales person hasn’t bothered to return my many phone calls. Definitely not going back to this dealership and probably this brand again unfortunately.
Saagar and Bill have been nothing but wonderful. Always very helpful, accommodating and effective. Great customer service makes me come to this dealership even though there is a closer one to where I live.
Went in for a check engine light on my vehicle. Mark Bisares took great care of me and my vehicle. He made sure that all my questions were answered and made sure I had the best service I could ask for!
I am excited to write about my recent experience with the best customer service ever: While my BMW is not equipped with satellite radio, Francisco Barquero, Service Manager, provided me with the precise solution to connect Sirius XM from my iphone to the car's speakers. But this is the least of it. Francisco not only listened to my frustration, he was determined to find the time and had the patience to provide me with precise information. When I sent an email of satisfaction to the Aftersales Director, I received an email of appreciation and then another from the Customer Services Manager. A kind word went along way with BMW West Island.
I have left, 2 messages for the parts department. 3 messages for the service department. And in a 3 week period, not a single callback. When I asked the receptionist for assistance, the only explanation I was given is that the single, solitary person at the dealership that can make service appointments is on vacation for 2 weeks, and nobody else can make the appointments. When I challenged the complete insanity of that explanation, without a care in the world she said literally, we'll I don't know how theyre doing it. BMW Laval on the other hand, night and day experience. Someone has answered the phone every time ive called, and took care of my issues promptly and without hassle. So if youre looking to buy or service. Learn from my experience, and go to the Laval location. Location is the only thing even remotely convenient about BMW West Island.
The service team always takes care of me, from the receptionnist to the appointment process, I know they are doing their best. My service conseiller Mr. Patel tells me the truth about repairs. Work done on the car is always prompt and well done, mechanics are professional. Am never disappointed.
BMW West Island is what I consider a great place to shop for "obviously" BMW vehicles. There are a few parts to my review. The new cars sales department and the service department. Although I have only bought one car from this dealership, the experience was great!! Luc, my BMW specialist, is exactly that, a specialist. He knows his cars very well, the details behind each model and knows his inventory by heart. However, here is the important kicker, Luc is a seasoned BMW specialist and has been for many many years!! Most importantly he is one of those non-pushy "sales-guys". He answers calls when you call in. A true gentlemen and very humble. On the service side of things and the reason for my most recent visit, things went well, with a few hiccups. I was in for an oil and tire change. Once completed, I started driving my car home and the tire pressure indicator lit up. Called the service manager and he had me back right away and dealt with the problem, no questions asked. A few other things I noticed; According to my work order a complimentary car wash was included. This was not the case, however it was a rainy day and I had no issue if they chose to bypass it, however, it should have been a a bit more clear on my paperwork that it was not completed. One last thing; the technicians that changed my tires, left some very gluey material on my mags that was very evident, essentially where the previous tire weights sat on. This could have just been a simple oversight and this morning my service rep was already trying to make an appointment to get the car back to clean things up. In the end, great follow-through from the dealership! Finally I would like to make a suggestion to management. I believe it is time now, to open up your coffee bar again. Sitting 3 hours at a classy BMW dealership with no options for caffeine is a bitter pill to swallow on most days! I know all about the COVID situation and I believe this dealership is following all protocols. However, I have frequented many other car dealerships in the past few weeks and ALL of them are serving coffee in some form or another. I return next week for a follow up to service and potentially test driving one of their new M vehicles, it would be a pleasant surprise to see the coffee running again!! Great work BMW West Island, cheers and keep up the great work!!
They lack client service. They took my car for a Recall and nobody offered to give me a car while it was being fixed. I had to rent a car for over a week costing me $635.78 and they didn't even offer to pay for it although they told me the repairs would only take 5 hours. Terrible to deal with them. These guys are making a terrible name for BMW. You're better off getting an Audi or Mercedes!
I don't often take the time to post a review but when I do its mainly for the lack of service and competence offered by companies. it is sad how this dealership is jeopardizing the reputation of BMW service. With the shortage of cars, they are more interested in buying your car then fixing the issue that's under warranty. August 9th update of the review Emailed them 2x and left messages still no follow up . Funny how quickly they respond saying please contact us so they look like a responsible dealership . Don’t be fooled as they even manipulate their customer satisfaction survey .
