While the owners are great and the location is awesome, the store itself feels dirty. Some stuff has been cleaned, while other places haven't. Games run great, and consoles do too, but the one I received was dirty and barely worked pictures attached ps1. I'll keep coming but, I'll be cautioned next time.
Amazing store! I can't stop looking at everything, everytime I go in. Getting back into my handhelds and thay have tons of games to choose from. I've know Bill for years know and he's always treated me the same. Thank you for being awesome. Love you man!
My favorite video game store and nicest people around in town. If you guys need get classic games or console this is the place to go and they have almost everything you need for game collector.
Bill is the best. This store is true to its name and treats everyone like they are Very Important People. Whether you need to trade in those old consoles you don't use anymore or need the newest Switch game, VIP Games is here to serve you. VIP Games is very generous to the community and has provided great prizes for the My Places BINGO Events.
I have been coming to this store on and off over the years , I come here more often now then ever due to living closer. This one of the few places I'll go local to get games and bits. The prices are fair and rare goodies will pop up from time to time. The best thing is being able to bring in games and systems and get store credit for them. Bring in a pile of stuff and for store credit and spend it then or hold onto that store credit if you don't see something you want right then. For streaming this is amazing can get a new title day 1 to stream it and pay for it with my pile store credit, it's a huge help ^^. I will keep coming here for the rare finds and the great customer service. The staff will go above and beyond to help you even if they don't have what are looking for, they will try and point you in the right direction so that you can get what you are looking for.
Bill and Reed are the nicest, friendliest dads in gaming. They treat everyone who comes through the door like family, and never hesitate to go the extra mile. If they don't have it, they'll find it, and if they have it, you can guarantee it works well and is never overpriced. Skip the big stores, don't buy online. Go into VIP where gamers are family.
Robin was absolutely amazing. My N64 games weren't working and I wanted to see if it was my 64 or the actual games. She pulled out a 64 and tested every one. She cleaned them all thoroughly they were really dirty and they all worked afterwards. I normally don't leave reviews but after the great service from her I just had to. Thank you for being so great Robin!
The last true local game store in Boise! Run by owners that genuinely care about their customers. Great selection for the retro crowd. I will always make this my FIRST stop for purchases.
The owner was great! Answered all my questions and even polished my discs. They had a great selection and prices too!
The incredibly friendly staff at the VIP Game store always make for a very pleasant visit, and are happy to answer any questions with a smile on their face.
