Viking Shop Gifts Collectibles

While on a bus trip from our home in beautiful Ocala, FL to various areas we had a fun stop at Niagara on The Lake (Queen Street) We walked down Queen Street that was full of shops, restaurants and sites to see. We were fortunate enough to stop in at The Viking Shop...the place was filled with cute, appealing things for sale. Staff Carol was sweet and helpful...kudos Carol.We settled on a multi-colored glass fish with colored glass bubbles coming out of its fish mouth. It is hanging in an east window in our home which sends 'rainbows' out on our walls every morning. A colorful reminder of The Viking Shop...Niagara on The Lake and our time in Canada.

Although they have lots of interesting items, but their environment is not very shopper friendly. There are signs like no photgraphy and you break it you buy it everywhere. The three pictures I took were from outside only.

Kitschy knick knacks about wine, religion and moms. There are no Viking things here.

Love this shop, visited on 17th Nov and bought a cpl of items, wishing I had bought more but weight limit on cases!!

So many things to look at, great signs and trinkets. I bought a tiny tin whistle and ended up losing it 😔. Next time I go back to Canada I'll make a trip to this store just to buy another tiny whistle. The lady who was working the afternoon we visited was lovely, happy to have a chat and explain certain things about the town and items within the store.
