I was excited to check out a local bookshop on my stroll through this quaint town. My first complaint came when they weren't open at the posted time. When they finally opened over 30 minutes later, the selection was lacking (I couldn't find Lord of the Rings), and the prices were higher than MSRP printed on the jackets. If you notice that the door's open and want to have a conversation with the owner, it might be fine. But if you want a book to read at a reasonable price, look elsewhere.

This is a fantastic Book Store and the owner is a delight to Chat with .Very knowledgeable and great stories of local history . We always make it a stop while in NOTL .

One of the last remaining bookshops in Canada.  A vast selection of rare and antiquarian books. Great prices and the most gracious proprietor.  A great experience
