With gourmet toppings like 3 bean chili, roasted portobello and pear, or cashew based ooey gooey Mac N Cheeze-bring your carnivore friends. Bob Rogers sold boxes of farmer's fruit and veggies (and a few Canadianna antiques), from Saskatchewan to B.C.’s Okanagan- from the back of his 1 tonne pick up.
In 1978 “Veggie Bob” found a more permanent home for his culinary and artistic talents when he and his father built the rustic post and beam market, (next to the Fort Art Gallery), in Fort Langley B.C. Café delights such as vegetarian soups and fruit pies, were added to the historic grocery by Bob’s Mom-affectionately known as “Norma Jean”.
