Mattu's Coffee & Tea

I've been going to Mattus for over 5 years now, and the last view months I've visited, I've noticed a difference in the atmosphere. You can tell right off the bat that the girls working are not being treated well, I myself have seen the manager talking extremely rudely and ordering them around to the point where they're almost in tears. The manager takes customers orders with no emotion or a care in the world of how their days went. You can clearly see she doesn't care for her customers or her employees and is strictly in this for the money. I've been putting a lot of my money into this business but after seeing the way this place has been run I will find another coffee shop to spend my mornings. -Lisa

Nice, friendly staff. Shouldn't have to pay a tip for over the counter purchases however. Asked for hot chocolate with no whip bit got whip anyway. No biggy, it was busy. Big, square space with unflattering layout; just a square bunch of tables inside with a nice patio outside which is now closed. Another coffee house full of syrups and flavourings and unauthentic coffee creations that cost a small fortune; a substitute for Starbucks for those seeking convenience...

Cozy but spacious feel, located in a new neighborhood. Coffee tastes good and service is friendly.

Extremely rude and neglected food safety regulation. I ordered white temple latte less chocolate but it came out as regular chocolate. So I complained but she reused the tea bag. I asked again, since tea has already been infused, the flavour would be really thin. She then puts the new one in like this - the entire tea bag label inside my drink. I asked again then SHE PUTS HER FINGERS INSIDE MY DRINK TO TAKE THE LABEL OUT. CLEARLY AGAINST THE FOOD SAFETY ACT. SHE COMTAMINATED MY DRINK WITH HER GLOVELESS HAND. Not even a single apology from them. DO NOT GO HERE.

Their coffees and teas are really good. If the staff is friendly, I would visit this place more often. They are quite rude; they often gave me intimidating glares and made me feel utterly disrespected.
