Kingfishers Waterfront Bar & Grill

Pretty cool place right beside the old Albion Ferry terminal in Maple Ridge. Good looking patio overlooking the mighty brown Fraser where I’m sure you will be ravaged by mosquitoes in the summer! Food and service was really good. The reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because of the food prices. 12 bucks for a Caesar salad and 9 bucks for a bowl of soup is just too much.

Went there for dinner today! Usually I never eat burgers but decided to order one and it was awesome. Was so nice view on the patio. Good family place. Brought my toddler. It was so relaxing. Food was great! Nice staff! Very impressed. We will definitely go again soon :)

You must try the Bellini Bomb. Amazing view. Great service. Varied drink menu. A little pricey but worth it.

We have visited the Kingfisher numerous times and we have found it to have good food, good service, a clean enviroment with a great view. And is is close by!! But after tonight it will be our last visit. $37 for two sandwich plates that were poor quality.....I will go elsewhere. One star rating...was one star too many. I ordered a cheesed burger and fries. Burger was good. Fries were barely warm and lots of small crispy pieces Wife ordered pulled pork sandwich and upgraded the salad to a Kanaka. Pulled pork was not pulled meat and was attached to a piece of fat and the salad was bad and wilted. I asked our waitress if there was a new cook and got a strange reaction but no real a answer. I imagine she would know as she goes into the kitchen to get the meals. She said that she would ask the manager to come see us. He came to the welcome area and looked at us from afar but for some reason bailed out. I am so surprised that in this slow season that you wouldn't be trying to do the best as possible. I paid our bill and off we were...and my wife asked if I wanted the receipt and I said yes as I want to see why we see charged so much for 2 sandwiches and 2 pots of tea. So low and behold the receipt was for 38.86 and had a 20% discount off of a $3 salad that was barely eaten and 20% of the $14 pulled pork sandwich. No mention by the waitress and no manager. So I wouldn't have known as I usually never take those receipts and only take the credit card receipt. No apology by management and the token unmentioned discount doesn't cover tonight's unforgettable experience for sure.

Good food, good atmosphere, good view. We enjoyed our visit to Kingfishers Waterfront Bar and Grill. The server was helpful and attentive. Our meal was delicious and came as requested. Drink selection was also good. Would make for a great date night restaurant although it's off the beaten path for much else to do in a date night.
