I love this place . Cozy and comfortable with very friendly and nice staff. And off course one of the most significant positive things is it's parking. Everything about this place is great.
Cold, cold, cold...nAlthough the library has a great atmosphere for studying, I must mention that they seem to be wasting a lot of energy with excessive cooling. It's a comfortable space, but the cooling could be more efficient. Overall, it's a pleasant place to study, but I hope they consider making some adjustments to be more environmentally friendly.
One of the best libraries to study in the Northshore and possibly all of Vancouver. Quiet, very clean, extremely polite and helpful staff, positive ambience, I have been using this library over the last 15 years and the NVPD Capilano Library has always been my number one preference. I hope they keep it this way and I hope it never changes.
One of the worst libraries I have ever been too. Small. Not many places to sit or study. Has a patio but its bad. Limited places to sit outside. Always hard to find parking and when you do its usually on a time limit. Its in an area where nature is very prominent, yet doesn't incorporate nature much at all. For example, they could have nice areas to sit and read outside but they do not. The architecture of the building is very outdated and boring. Could definetly use a renovation. I think that a nature related architectural theme would look really nice in this area. There needs to be major changes here. North Van is one of the fastest growing areas and this library is too small and too old.
Nice ambiance and friendly staff, but unfortunately, extremely freezing! I can't spend much time there because of the temperature. My hand freezes on the mouse!!
