Really modern and spacious library. Quite busy, so it’s hard to find seating at times.
The Ridington Room at the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre is one of my favourite and most creative places to work. Whether I am writing a book, researching a challenge, or planning my year, the towering windows, wooden desks, and quietness of the space always makes me productive. As a UBC Alumnus a bonus for me is seeing the paintings of UBC’s past Presidents.
Be sure to come early or it’s so difficult to find a place to study. Highly recommend the Ridington Room. Every student is studying,
Busy place, but good to study in if you can find a place to sit. Washrooms could be cleaner though.
Lots of places to study, though you definitely need noise cancelling. Washrooms are always rancid though. Great atmosphere with nice lecture halls downstairs.
