Valley Family Physicians: Numata James A MD

I have seen Dr. Numata a few times over the past 2.5 years now and would not go back if I was on my death bed. He told me that my birth control wouldn't be negated by antibiotics, I checked with the pharmacy and thank god I did, because it completely negates birth control. He misdiagnosed my husbands Mono. Cracked jokes during my 'yearly pap' exam, which I find completely inappropriate. He also tells me that nothing can be done about IBS. When I transferred to this practice (due to change of insurance companies) he had NO interest in my family medical history. Also he does not respect my husband and my choice about not wanting children. He keeps telling me that I might change my mind, so he won't 'fix' either me or my husband. He keeps putting latex gloves as well, though I have mentioned I have a latex sensitivity. Also on my last visit to get a refill on my eppi-pen (bees) he informed me that I don't really have an allergy and there fore do not need an eppi-pen. I do not trust Dr. Numata with my health.
