Providence Valley Young People's Clinic - Spokane

Good doctors and nurses when you are there. Very bad job of calling you back and getting scheduled. I called at 835 am (5 minutes after open) this morning and they said they had a 4pm appointment and a nurse would call me back to see if my daughter needed to be seen today. 3 hours later they called my wife (not me) back and said yes, but the only open time is after 7pm which happens to be after a sick kids bed time. After haggling on the phone for on our 3rd phone call of the day they said they had a 5pm slot. Really? This is the second time this exact thing has happened where I am waiting for a nurse to call back and then not being able to schedule, but the last time we were pushed to another day. I like the Doctors, but this is not acceptable.

Like any doctors office you can have excellent providers and not so great providers and the opinions are very personalized. That said, we have loved Valley Young Peoples Clinic. Our two children have been treated at both the Liberty Lake location and the Valley location. Their physician is Dr. Brian Simmerman and he is of the excellent category based on our experiences and expectations. The other employees whether at the desk or nurses have also always been polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I will continue to bring my children here and recommend them regularly.

Went here my entire childhood and it's where we take my little girl. We have never received less than amazing care. Highly recommend.

Love the DR's. The front end staff is getting better over the last couple years. There are still times were the front end can be unresponsive or difficult to get through but it had improved in the last 3 years.

Asked for my three Children's Immunization records what I got back was my oldest shot records for him,but also for his little sister and brother. 14 years later I still haven't been sent the right shot records for my youngest two kids. Wouldn't take a sick dog there !!! Was with the Valley for 22 years. After two things I left for better places !!! My oldest was hospitalized after a doctor there was so busy chewing my butt for being overweight and a smoker,that he miss that she was allergic to all penicillin and gave her amoxicillin then about 12 years later I had a P.A. treated my like poo on his shoe !!! Yelling at me and carry on like a mad man !!! The whole office heard him yelling at me !!! in front of my 2 year old child.Walked out ,have NEVER taken my kids there again !!!! Since 1986 they just keep going down hill !!! Still would love they're real shot records !!!
