Japanese cheesecake has the consistency of most Asian style cakes where it is more spongy the dense with the obvious added texture of cheese. I have seen the ingredients they used when they opened their first location on Bay and Dundas in downtown Toronto and it was disappointing. Gay Lee butter with sugar and named brand cream cheese. In Japan there is a dedication to quality and artisanal values so I wonder if this would be better in the homeland. Who am I kidding of course it would be better. Interesting if you want to try a fluffier cheesecake but otherwise it may not be all that special.
Cheese cakes are always good so decided to try their cheese tarts and they are amazing. Hard shell to keep the cheesy goodness inside I nice switch from traditional egg tarts. Always consistent food here which brings me back.
I can only speak to the cheese tarts at this location, but they were fresh and well-made; nice crisp to the crust with a soft, sweet filling. It looks like they're constantly making things fresh too.
Everything is always made fresh. All their desserts are good and not too sweet. I would recommend the cheese tarts
After buying from this branch, you won’t like the other branches, the best one, always superrrrrr fresh, u always get the fresh baked one. so tasty, it melts in your mouth. highly recommend Good job guys
as always the best cheesecakes I've ever tried! delicious, very soft and fluffy! Price $14 per box.
I was so excited to see a vaughan location open as I go to Richmondhill to buy it. Was extremely disappointed in the quality the cheesecake was extremely undercooked it's hard to tell in the photo but it was mushy and tasted awful.
Their cheese tarts are the best. Madeleine was not my favorite. It was dry and very less flavor. Cheesecake is their specialty and you don't feel that it's very heavy. Always a delight to eat that any day!! Do try if you haven't done so!
Nice aroma filled the mall of fresh baked cakes when walking by the area, the cheesecake is soft textured, light and fluffy but dense. Delicious treat!
I always love the fresh bakes of Uncle Tetsu at Vaughan Mills location. I have visited other branches over time, but none offered fresh bakes at the time of my visit. During my three visits so far to this store, I always managed to get my hands on a fresh Cheese Tart and Honey Madeleines.
