Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl and Grill

I was worried when I read the reviews. Fortunately everything we ordered was good. By no means is this Michelin Star dining but we’re going bowling after so this is great! Our waitress was great. She was very attentive. My only problem with this place is everything is an up-sale and I wish they let you know before/as you ordering...eg. Juice with the kids meal is $2, refills for that juice is $1, yam fries can be subbed but there’s not price listed ($2). Yes I know it’s listed (not yam fries) in the kids meal menu but it’s hard to see the words when the menu is also the kid’s colouring activity. With the bowling experience it’s a 4 Star.

I enjoyed it before but they changed food service providers. It was never gourmet or even casual but it had a certain charm. I recommended it for a cheap meal. With the new provider, everything I liked is gone so I'm not coming back. The Tournament Burger used to be two juicy patties and is now one dry one for the same price.

Great experience bowling there for the first time today! The staff were exceptionally courteous and friendly. Plus the atmosphere and decor is top notch! Will definitely be back!

Awful food, terrible service. I mean it is a bowling alley so we weren’t expecting 5 stars but, come on. The “bison” burger was a leathery piece of frozen awfulness. Had to ask twice for our coffee and the kid’s drink. Food came without cutlery, had to wait for that and the condiments. Even the 9 year old couldn’t eat his meal. We let the manager know , who we have to say handled the situation very well. We left our meals uneaten. Bowling looked fun though. But I doubt we will be returning.

This place is the worst ran business I have ever dealt with. This is the third time trying to go there, the staff have poor communication with each other in relating messages. This time I requested a reservation for a bday party and I had to follow up 3 times to be told that they were booked up 2 days before the bday party. If you are going to RSVP here, make sure you follow up way in advance just in case. No communication was related at all, other than my follow ups.
