Pat Quinn's Restaurant & Bar

We have been going to this restaurant with our friends and family for a couple of years and really looked forward to each occasion. Today we went back only to discovered they have changed the menu. The best calamari in town is no longer there, and many dishes have changed. I usually enjoy the seafood linguine with its fine creamy sauce. The linguine served this time had a tomato based sauce that was watery and thin and could not coat the noodles, the noodles were under cooked and stiff making it impossible to roll onto the fork. I ended up frustrated and cut up the noddles and ate it like soup with a spoon. No one in our party of four really enjoyed their meal. Service was mediocre, waiter skipped the usual complimentary bread and was slow in response to some requests.All in all, we will not be back unless they bring back the old menu.

This place is oozing with potential. The building, the natural beauty of the surrounding area, and the golf course itself is everything you could want and more in a golf club. Not to mention that the restaurant bares the name of a local sports legend. This SHOULD (and could) be a cornerstone of Tsawwassen... but it all falls apart with the service. More specifically, the lack there of. Maybe it's the lack of competition in Delta, and the knowledge that locals will come simply by default, that keeps the them operating out of complacency... but each time I have gone, and each time friends have relayed their own experiences, I hope it will be better than the last visit, but it's always the same. The food is often mediocre with the occasional win, but each time, the disappointing and infrequent service, long waits for food (even on a low-capacity weekday evening) and the constant check-in's with multiple servers, the service will spoil your experience and overshadow the great round of golf or hour at the driving range. Until they make some drastic changes skip your meal at Pat Quinn's and head somewhere else. You'll spend just as much time waiting for food here as you would driving to a more promising (and just as expensive) restaurant in Vancouver. Here's hoping it can improve, because nothing would make me happier than to go to PQ's and have the meal and experience that it has the potential to provide. ***Note: if the Management responds to this with a reply saying they're sorry that I didn't have a good time, please disregard it, the number of times we have been disappointed are not coincidences, they are a pattern, and they need to be addressed.

Came here for a post wedding reception lunch - had great service & food & staff who went the extra mile by bringing a nice congratulations dessert for the new weds ! Easy to make and change a reservation and overall very accommodating !
