Montana's BBQ & Bar

Britt provided us with great service and was helpful with all our questions as it was our first time at Montana's. We arrived around noon and the place was quite quiet. When we ran out of pita for our appetizer, she even offered us more. It's interesting that they have extra sauce offered at the table, so you can give it a taste test before you decide on what you would like on your meat. We tried many dishes and the wings were my favourite with honey garlic, but a bit too sweet for my mom. My least favourite was the beef brisket, which was a bit dry.

This restaurant has got a very family oriented vibe to it. However, people who like watching sports would enjoy it too as they have a bar section dedicated to sports fans. My family has dinned here many times and we love the food, the service and the atmosphere. The friendly general manager greeted us every time we came out here to eat. The food consistently came out exactly like what’s depicted in the menu. Be prepared as the portion is unexpectedly large. My kids especially love their Jambalaya Pasta! I’ve not tried their beef burgers, but the chicken ones that I’ve tried, southern fried chicken sandwich and chicken waffle club are both exceptionally tender and juicy. I just can’t get enough of them :-) I would recommend this restaurant to everyone who wants a place with decent food to sit down and relax after a day of shopping. People who had average experience in other Mantana’s locations should definitely try them out!

I'd say four and a half stars. I really enjoyed our server Morgan she served us for Valentine's day and our drinks and food came in a timely manner. I'm in love with the chicken burger!! And just by watching our surroundings they dealt with children very well, many happy little faces. Only reason it's not a full five is because a neighboring server was doused in cologne and it was a tad overpowering for someone sensitive to smells, it gave me a headache.

I actually really like Montana's - just not this location. It has more of a warehouse feel to it with dull colours and high ceilings. The ceilings and open seating plan (no booths) make it a bit loud and echoing. Most Montana's ring a bell to announce a birthday - this location has a guy yell really really loudly - your first reaction might be to take cover under your table since it will seem like a robbery scene from a bad movie - but don't! The floor will be sticky and littered with napkins. Menus, table, and chairs weren't properly wiped down before we were seated either. Service was mediocre (several requests had to be made for more drinks, straws, napkins, etc before they actually showed up),but it was fairly busy in that section. I suggest checking out a different location for a better experience.

I gave it a 1 star as the food is decent. But we were served by a waitress named Jayde M. Never had service this bad. The food is pretty good, but service like this is the reason I will never go back. Horrible service. Didn't even attempt to create conversation, or ask how we were doing. She was a bit better with other tables but when it came to my family and myself no smile no conversation nothing. The girl who was with her was better. Not sure of her name but smiled and made sure we were doing okay. The food and dessert took a long time as well. Definitely will not be going back.
