UMass Memorial Medical Center - University Campus

If you have a mental health problem or anything that they have a hard time understanding then you are treat like a sub human. Everyone that comes in there that does not have blood pouring out of them are labeled a drug addict or a mental health problem and that when they start treat you like you are a sub human and treatment becomes so bad that you just want to leave. This is what they want. I will never ever step back into that hospital again. I go to Boston now and no matter what your problem is you are treated with total respect. UMass Hospital should be investigated by the state. But fat chance of that happening. You are better off at a small local hospital.

Had a brain tumor removed here. Everything was great until post surgery. No one will call you back in the neuro surgeons office. Made multiple calls and I am still waiting to speak to a doctor. Was referred to neurology and am still waiting for someone to call me. The referral was sent over 2 weeks ago and was supposed to be urgent. I will never allow them to operate on me or any member of my family. Absolutely disgusted with the way they treat patients! Don't use them for anything!

This facility is Amazing. You will never get this kind of care, attention, surgeons in USA. From the beginning to the end of your procedure. Even when you leave they stay in contact with you. I would tell anyone you will be safe there and it is so well taken care of...!

My sister has cancer and was transported here from Leominster at 4 pm Saturday and I called this morning around 9 am and she was still in the ER waiting for a bed. In the meantime she was not giving anything for her severe dehydration. Drs have known about her cancer for a month now and not one of them has set her up with an oncologist for treatment. Now it's growing fast. WTH is happening to our health care
