Tuscan Bistro

Staff is very friendly and the food is good. I enjoy getting the steak with a cream mushroom sauce. I have also have there homemade pasta. It is hard to get pasta right because it could get gummy but they did a really nice job! Will be going back for another dinner soon!

I Was very disappointed in the Tuscan Bistro. Should have known when my husband asked for Italian dressing and the waitress said they didn't have Italian dressing. My husband's family is from Italy and we thought the restaurant would be an answer to our prayers. Ordered a rum and coke, first one was perfect, but the second one was so watered down, it didn't taste like there was any or very little alcohol in the drink. We told our waitress, she called a manager, who told us point blank we were going to be charged for the drink so matter what! Very rude and uncaring. I ordered a steak medium, there was an awful lot of blood on my plate for a steak being cooked medium. Our friends warned us not to go there because the portion size is so small for the expense of the meal. We will never return to Tuscan Bistro and I will warn all my friends to do the same. The restaurant does not live up to it's advertising. Don't go by their advertising, the photos show the food covering your plate, but when served, the food is iust in the very middle of the plate, almost started laughing when the waitress brought my dinner. The bread basket is so tiny, I thought it was a joke. I don't treat my family like that! We made reservations, but was seated by the bar and nearly froze, couldn't wait to get out of there!

High class restaurant and bar, med-high prices, but great food and service. Definitely worth it.

Absolutely wonderful food. The seafood in my pasta dish was fresh and prepared well. And the creme brulee was very good to.

Do not waste your time or money. The Tuscan Bistro used to be a good restaurant when the husband and wife who own it were there. Apparently now, their daughter manages the restaurant and it shows. They ran out of Veal on Father's Day at 7:45pm....how does that happen??? The Calamari was over cooked and tasted like rubber bands and they do not know what a Vodka Gimlet is. It is such a shame that this is no longer the Restaurant it once was, I swore I would not go back the last time I was in Traverse City, but decided to give them another try. $200 later I was more disappointed than my last visit. There are so many great places to go in Traverse City, my advice is to skip the Tuscan Bistro.
