Hop Lot Brewing Co.

Enjoy this place a lot in the summer, but arrived into town last week and decided to stop. Absolutely loved the igloos! What a super idea. Been telling everyone. We had pulled pork and some great mac and cheese. Sitting outside, warm and enjoying the winter scenery made the meal really special.

Good prices, cool atmosphere. They serve food and grow hops on site. During busy season they don't offer beer flights or half pours and that was a bummer because there are many beers to try.

Gorgeous place, good mix of beers. They don't overpower you with 50+ brews, Less than 10 at a time when I visited and a good selection of Porters, Amber's, a belgian, a stout, ciders, and sparkling wine. One for every style and in a laid back, friendly atmosphere. Short drive from downtown TC makes it an easy place to start or finish if you're on a brewery tour, or close enough to pop in for 1-2 on a week day after work. Great in winter too!

Good staff, nice building, very good beers. Came back on 6-6-2018, canged my review from 4 to 3 stars, beers are ok but i don't like places that do not describe their beers, the young ladies working were nice but know nothing about beers, can't find out any specs from staff, poor training for a brewery IMO. Like the layout and patio.

Hands down, the best microbrewery/beer garden in Michigan. Awesome beer and even better atmosphere!
