Went there for a funeral. A beautiful one.

I was fishing on the river la seller near the monastery before going home i decided to take a walk around the monastery and take some photos A mini van came across the lawn towards me with high beams on they slowed down and followed very closely almost at my heals to the car park it was very intimidating once in the car park the mini van turned and and went back to the arts centre There are no signs saying you can’t walk around the monastery in the evening I was simply taking in the peace and quite of the monastery I found the experience very threatening and intimidating it ruined a nice walk and day

Pleasant and quiet place to have a walk. There are informative signs installed in the paths to know more about the historic site. However, it is good have additional tables in the park to stay in while enjoying the view.

Hidden gem for portrait photography in Winnipeg. Really pretty ruins.

Great place to take photos and check out the history of the location. It’s a hidden gem just outside of the city.
