This is a Winnipeg treasure and one of Canada's top urban parks. A park that you can spend a whole day at and not take it all in. You can go to the zoo and watch the Polar bears, take your kids to the new playground or bring your lawn chairs to watch a movie during the summer. My favorite thing is just riding my bike around the park on the paths and trails that leas you South of the park and ride the trails in our urban forest. Also don't forget to walk across the river and grab an ice cream at Sargent Sunday or just go for brunch at the restaurant by the duck pond. Simply put, you will love Assiniboine Park.

This is a big park that has lots of gardens and stuff. There’s a big chair and lots of weird little Winnipeg things that are either closed or running at half capacity. Went over for a while with Pokémon go around the Leo mol gardens. In general what am I gonna say that’s meaningful about this well landscaped and very well maintained park? If you want to go to park then this is the one for you I guess, unless it’s too far. Then just go to a park that’s closer to you. This park is close to the zoo if that’s relevant. I’m pretty sure you can play soccer and have a little cookout but you should probably check to see if you need to rent or reserve anything. I don’t know what else to say. It’s a park that’s never too packed and you don’t feel like you’re going to be robbed. I feel like that’s all a park can ever hope to be.

I enjoy stopping in the park whenever there is time. There are so many things to do here. You can visit the zoo, stroll through the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, enjoy the formal English Garden, watch Ballet in the Park, ride on the Steam Train, escape winter in the Conservatory, play Cricket on the main lawns, enjoy a family picnic, or one of many other fun things. The most recent time, we encountered a deer in the parking lot of the conservatory.

This is a beautiful park, great for walks. Good place for families for the Zoo, Children's playground, toboggan run, skating pond with warm up shelter and washrooms available late. Other features are beautiful flower gardens, and the Leo Mol sculpture garden. I go here often for walks
