A pretty cool spot for sunrises, though weirdly named! In the winters you gotta be careful you don't slip in the snow/ice mixture while going up or down the hill but its definitely worth checking out and taking a few pictures for sunrise early in the morning.
I gather this park is better known for winter activities. It is a nice vantage point to get a view of the city skyline. There is a large Tyndall stone compass art installation that has sadly been throughout vandalized; it is a shame the city doesn't seem to maintain this park much.
Garbage Hill is the California Hollywood of Winnipeg, all I am saying bc you get the phenomenal view. 360! Evening you see the best Sunset ever and Night of course who doesn’t like City Lights Highly Recommended!
Just a big park. A few guys walk here. Good view but strong wind. Yes, almost take me away? Opps, I am 180lbs.
Our favourite park to go to! A great space to get fresh air, while seeing beautiful views of the city. It is an off leash dog park, so make sure you aren’t afraid of a random dog running up to smell you! Very friendly dogs that are off leash, never had any problems with my dog and the other dogs there! A lot of green space to burn off energy and very well kept. You don’t have to worry about accidentally stepping on anything disgusting!
Here is dog-leash off place. Be careful If you have kids. However, there is the fresh place to look around Winnipeg.
Best Views in Late Evening.. Winnipeg has some absolutely Beautiful Scenes if You Opn Youself to Experience Them! -zak-
Nice and quiet. My son enjoyed meeting with friendly dogs there.
This place needs urgent cleaning. It has the beautiful golden hour views of the surroundings. Also watch your back and avoid night walk because of shady area.
Really good place for taking your dog for a walk. Would be 5* if the #cityofwinnipeg bothered to clean up the litter and broken glass which was there all summer long!
