Okay for bringing my dog there. Main reason I visit this park. But wish they could put in a large fenced in area for dogs. That way you don't need to worry about your dog taking off and you can always have it in your sight. Don't know why they call it a dog park when it's actually just a park that allows dogs. Dog parks are for dogs so would involve things for dogs. In Vancouver in almost every park in the city now they have an area around the size of a baseball field fenced in that is mostly gravel. They have dog water fountains and logs and hills and different things for dogs. Some even have water or are at beaches where the dogs have a fenced in area that they cannot escape.

We love this dog park because of the fenced-in area for puppies and dogs who have not yet grasped off-leash manners. The people who attend this park are so friendly in my experience and love their dogs playing with others. The walk around the park area is very scenic and peaceful, and having your dog off their leash is worry free because it is well hidden from roads and traffic. If you have a dog who you would like to let off without worries of running away, this is the park to visit!

I love coming here, Hudson loves playing with most of the dogs. It is a public dog park after all and not all dogs are socialized well. If you keep an eye on your dog it’ll be great. I love being 5 mins away so I just hop in the car and take Hudson for a ride and he gets a better workout then just on leash for the same period of time. I even use this as a location to meet up with friends who have dogs because it’s not forced for them to just hang out they can play with other dogs anytime.

My dog loves going to the park and me and my family. There is a lot of nature. Last year I fell of one of the trees actually. Go to the park it is amazing

The location is convenient for anyone who lives in Winnipeg south. The people who go there are friendly and the dogs are generally well behaved. There is enough space for all breeds of dog to run and play. The park is especially nice in the summer although there have been problems with the black footed tick the last couple of years.
