Everytime, I walk into this once iconic place, I regret it. No one seems to be interested in selling things. Little to no proactive help. Toys loaded into shelves as if they are being dumped.
They need to work on the experience. Hands on activities, kids engagement while in stores. Without that, nothing can help them

NEVER SHOPPING HERE AGAIN!
My daughter slipped and fell on some spilt bubbles earlier this month. Hurt her knee and ruined her shoes. Waited 15-20 min for the supervisor to print of an accident report which he couldn't figure out how to do so I had hand write one. Took a few days for me to get a hold of the store manager to make sure an actual accident report was filed. I told her I thought someone would call me to let me know and to check up on her to see how she is doing. She said she did file the report but they do not call to check up on people. She was however the first person to ask if my daughter was ok.
Called customer service just to verify that an accident report had been filed. Sat on hold for around 30 mins before I was able to talk with someone who told me I need to call risk management. So I have now called risk management and left a message for them to veal me back. It's been days and I'm still waiting for that call.
The customer service is horrible here and it spreads outside of the store. The cashier that checked us out however was awesome!
I just want to be clear here that I'm not looking for a hand out. In this situation things could have been handled a lot differently and all I want are answers. For Toys "R" Us this is a learning opportunity. Your store is lucky all she got was a bruised knee and stained/scuffed shoes. Someone could've seriously gotten hurt. And attitude would've been given from the girl behind the customer service counter and then they would've had to write out their own accident report.

The name says it all! It is a great toy land to explore. I can always find the right gift for the kids and kids at heart.

Is it possible for a toy store to be too big? It's very hard to find anything. Organized by manufacturer rather than by concept. Great selection, but can take hours to find anything. Go there once, and you'll realize why people shop on the internet. I'm not alone, it was a ghost town when I last went. Maybe they need online "map" so you search for an item on your mobile internet, and it shows you exactly where in store to find it! That would make it much better. Even a little computer directory at the front would work. IF you can find an employee, they usually can show you where things are.

Very poor experience. Came into Burnsville location to pick up an online order. After checking in on kiosk message is to shop while you wait. After 10 minutes asked a rude employee status and was told it can take a while. 10 minutes later they finally go back to look for item. Still in store waiting as I type this review. Should have ordered from Amazon.
