I had to return something I had purchased online. I spent considerable time on the phone regarding my credit card that wasn't being processed correctly in order to return my item for free via UPS. I had to return it to the store. I was told I could take it to any register with the authorization. When I went to the closest register, the employee had his head rested on his arms on the counter. I asked if I could return the item with the paperwork. He looked at it and asked me what he was supposed to do with it. He tried scanning the QR code and didn't understand what the response was. He sent me to the other side of the store to the service counter. The customer service rep was able to help me. The whole process took a long time. The store was basically empty at 5:30 pm. I won't be going back to the store unless I have to, which is a shame. It used to be a favorite store.
I have been shopping at Macy location in Burnsville for years and been happy with location and service since it s small and easy to find items.nnHowever today is a totally different experiences. I need to find a dress and could not find it. I took a picture on the mannequin and show the lady. Her name is Selam. The first word coming out of her mouth is “If it does not has the brand I can’t find it”. She didn’t even bother to ask the the brand name or says let me go downstairs and look for you. She keep saying “if it does not have a brand I can’t find it”. When I says Calvin Klein she just ignored and she try to walk away. Her colleges/friends she used to work at Macys there tell “yes, you can find it. If you search the brand or keyword dress with flower pattern you will find it”. She just ignored what they says. Finally, I found the brand and dress myself online on my phone to show her then she look in store inventory. Her attitude is not collaborating or trying to help at all.nnAs a customer, do I suppose to feed her all these information and go online find it myself like that??? Normally with other ladies, I got help nicely to find things I need. However this is not with the case with Selam. I m not happy with the way she do customer service at all! If Macys want to keep business going and local supported instead of shop online or go to Mall of America location, I hope Macys will re-train or fix customer service at this location.
Macy's has the rudest and no training individual workers there by all means. Just because you have a back pack they treat as if your there to steal. They should be better trained on who they target, teach them how to use the register correctly and not forget to give you back your change. The clothes section for men's very unprofessional staff. Way better service at Kohls.
I looked at men's suits 2 weeks ago and women's dresses today. I have not been able to find anything to spend money on. If there was rhyme or reason for the way the dresses were organized and laid out, it was lost on me. They don't carry very many plus-size dresses, and I really searched the store. The fitting rooms are a little tight, but there are plenty of them.
