Story

Touro Steakhouse provides a new and unique fine dining experience to the GTA. Being the only upscale Authentic Brazilian Steakhouse, we provide a wide selection of fine dishes, prepared fresh by our world renowned chef’s every day.

Our namesake ‘Touro’ is Portuguese for ‘bull’, while ‘Churrascaria’ is a Brazilian steakhouse. Churrasco is the cooking style, which translates roughly from the Portuguese for ‘barbecue’. The meat carved tableside is served by the gaúchos. A gaúcho is a loose equivalent of the North American ‘cowboy’. Traditionally, gaúchos cook their meats using large wooden or metal skewers driven vertically into the ground near a wood-burning open flame. They have been preparing meat this way for hundreds of years, and is much the same way we prepare and serve ours.

At Touro, we offer a unique Appetizer Island with different items, from fresh breads and fresh-cut vegetables to authentic Brazilian salads. We take pride in each dish to ensure it continuously meets the needs of our guests.

Touro also offers a variety of signature and basic cocktails, including our personal favourite, the Caipirinha, Brazil's national drink!
