Went on Sunday evening around 7-8, was pretty busy. Only seemed to be one waiter so service was very slow. Food is very good though. Recommend the buttered mushrooms and squid, tofu steak, and sushi.

I took my parents for a dinner here, because of good interior ambiance and food quality. The food did not disappoint, including sushi/sashimi, an octopus appetizer, and a 누룽지탕.
They need to train the servers better, though. We waited long, one server was definitely not proactive, seemed like she didn't want to be there. Also question if Korean servers treat Korean guests worse than different ethnic patrons. Anyway, one other server covered for two servers' job, and we left quite happy.

Overall I will rate this place 3 stars!!! Food tasted good, but portion was small, and price is not reasonable. The sushi surprisingly, was with a big roll of rice, more like Korean style sushi than Japanese style. Good atmosphere, and great place to hang out with friends.

Amazing place with fresh fish, open very late and isn’t crowded most of the time. Somewhat expensive but considering quality I wouldn’t say so. Don’t use a lot of soy sauce since it’s very salty.

I wanna start off by saying the food was amazing. A solid 4.5/5, up until I ordered a roll cake for dessert. There was Christmas themed sprinkles on it even though it was late April, and the center of the cake was still FROZEN, when the menu claimed it was fresh. I highly recommend the Aka Ebi, it was delicious. We ordered a large array of appetizers to share amongst 4 people, a large sake as well as a platter of sashimi and sushi. It was so unique that the sushi and maki were made with purple grains instead of traditional sushi rice. The fish was quite fresh and looked appetizing. The reason for such a low rating was that the service was terrible. No one knew what they were doing and they barely knew any English (we spoke Chinese and mandarin as well so that was not an issue) At one point our table was pretty much full and they tried to cram it into the table. They rarely smiled and spoke in a brash manner. I would love to come back to eat and enjoy the Japanese bar / grill atmosphere, I just feel like you need to work on your service more.
