Tou Lok Kitchen

I visited this restaurant for the second time last week. Unfortunately, my experience wasn't great. I ordered clams, but they served a mix of mostly bad and smelly ones with only a few fresh ones, making the dish barely edible!!!!!!!!!! The food was overly salty, and when I ordered the stir-fried free-range chicken, it seemed more like it had been soaked in sauce rather than stir-fried, lacking authenticity. During my first visit last month, I ordered deep-fried tofu, which was so overcooked that it became sharp and caused my mouth to bleed. Additionally, the veggies weren't stir-fried but rather precooked in water and then fried in a pan, resulting in a salty taste. The ventilation in the restaurant was poor, and the place was filled with the smell of cooking oil. After leaving, my hair and clothes still smelled like oily food. Overall, my experiences at this restaurant have not been great because of the quality of the food, and I don't plan to return and would not recommend either.

In my own opinion, the chef is sincere in his job, which includes the taste, the smell, and the presentation of each dish. Service is friendly and efficient. It's worth trying here.Food: 5/5

Great option for late night dining. They accept credit cards too. It’s a small place with few tables. It was quite noisy but that didn’t deter us from having a late night meal. Good food. We ordered Salt pepper tofu , salt pepper silver fish m, pea sprouts and fried rice with egg white and scallops.Food: 5/5

A small restaurant near Ikea in Richmond. We visited there in a group of 6, reservations made two days ahead. We were 5 minutes late, and the restaurant called us to confirm if we were on the way. When we arrived, the restaurant was already full, but within 15 minutes, our table was ready. We have ordered a few different dishes and they are all tasty and portions are good.

Hole in the wall authentic HK food, takes me back to the type of Cantonese restaurant I always went to as a child. Today I brought my baby in for a meal and he loved it too! The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The beef stir fried noodles were tasty but the clay pot rice was the star. Will be coming back again for sure!
