Sip Bowl La Mian

Came here Saturday afternoon for some quick lunch. Briefly seated and given water fairly quickly. Fiance ordered 1x combo B with braised beef angel noodle,peppercorns chicken, and plum juice. I tried to order a combo B and offered to pay extra for the passion fruit drink, but was told they can't do that. Ended up cancelling my combo B and just got signature with triangle noodle. Food came quickly. The peppercorn chicken was very good. Both soups were very bland, minimal toppings only 4-5 small pieces of meat. That being said, the noodles were quite tasty. I asked for the bill and waitress was about to give me machine, when another customer spoke in mandarin asking for something. Waitress didn't hand me machine, went back to counter to put it away, then serviced the mandarin speaking customer. Had to ask a 2nd waitress to bring back the machine so I could pay and leave this God awful restaurant. Would definitely not recommend as there are numerous other Chinese noodle soup restaurants for better quality and cheaper prices. Overall experience 1.5/5

Very good noodle soup and reasonably priced given that it’s located in a high end residential area. Order came out fast and good for a rushing lunch. I gave them one star less from a 5-Star rating is that I wanted a beer and they could not fulfill my order. However good is great.

Noodle is very nice and flavorful, however our waitress does not look very happy to be working at the restaurant…. We just sat down and she asked us if we were rdy to order 3 times within 5 minutes. Hence the 4 star

I've been going here for ages and their noodles always amaze me. The broth is made 5 hours before the store opens. The noodles are pulled fresh. And everything is super flavourful. If you love noodles, this is a must try

I visited this restaurant since my friend works here as a chef. Two of us have tried a majority of their options, including noodle soups, cold noodles, vegetable dishes, beef dishes, chicken dishes and herbal tea drink. My personal preferences are their cold noodles and beef dishes tendon and tripe. In terms of a more desirable thickness of the noodle, it’s recommended to choose a thinner one for the handmade texture. One last thing I’d like to mention is that Chinese normally don’t drink the broth from a noodle soup unless they are served separately; the broth, therefore, is relatively heavily seasoned.

Tried when the restaurant was first open. It was soooo good. Haven’t been there for the past 3 years and finally went there but it’s soooo disappointing! We had the sip bowl noodle it was not bad. And we had the cold noodle and it was very bad. The bowl had a bad smell as well like old and over used sour. We also ordered the chicken. And it has no taste. Wasted all. It’s not the same as before I will not return.

It’s really cool how you can pick different different noodle sizes there were about 5-6 options for thickness and shape, but I found the broth way too salty. We ordered the thickest and second-most thickest noodle. While I really enjoyed the thickness of the noodle, they were a bit too doughy; I wish it was a bit thinner depth-wise, which would have made the mouth feel much more pleasant. They offer chilli oil at the tables which is nice!

Excellent noodle place in the neighborhood. I love the authentic soup and noodles. Quick service after the order is placed. Nice interior and furniture,too.Food: 5/5

Noodles were nice in that lived up to the "fresh noodle" aspect, but everything was kind of a salt bomb. The choice to have plum juice as part of the combo was nice.

I had the the vegetarian La Mían and I ordered extra triangle noodles and it was sooo delicious!! Its tangy, sour, spicy and sweet!! It’s the best soup I have had in all of North America! The flavors are so delicious and reminds me of mainland China food! It’s super authentic and I am so excited I tried this place out on my travels ! 10 stars if I could! Service was excellent
