Cherry's Tofu House

I have never had a cold soupless noodle this disgusting. Not only was it the wrong type of noodle compared what Koreans use, it was literally a ball of slime that wouldn’t break apart. When I complained they nodded along and gave me some cold soup to mix in instead of actually addressing my problem which just made it a slightly soupy cold congealed ball of inedible slime.

Reasonable price for the food! Their Kimchi Bibimbap is really good. If you order it for eat-in, it comes in a stone bowl. I do not have dietary restrictions but I noticed they have common allergens listed on their menu - which is very helpful. Staff is also friendly. :Food: 5/5

It looked the place was ran by non Korean people hence we were little skeptical how authentic food could be. But we were pleasantly surprised of cold noodle meal which tasted as authentic as it could get. Quality was pretty good as well. We will later try other dishes as well. Place is located inside food court at Aberdeen mall so seatings are not easy to find.

I read reviews before coming here and i could see how the language barrier could easily come off as “rude” or “bad service” The staff was pretty nice and smiled. It took a bit of extra work to figure out my order but she made my kimchi stew vegan friendly and even came back out of the kitchen to see if i wanted it with egg or without. Pretty good portions for the price and my friend really liked the beef bimbobap but she said the rest was kinda of bland Would we come again? probably not.. but worth trying at least once i guess. The simmered pork hock was delicious. The egg on the rice was a pleasant surprise. Ordered the sweet potato side which was a nice addition to lunch.Food: 5/5

This restaurant served me the most disappointing meal I have had all year. Despite the appetizing appearance of the BBQ beef on rice in the picture, the actual dish was comprised of only a few small pieces of beef, alongside mushrooms and glass noodles. To make matters worse, the taste was dominated by an excessive amount of vinegar. This dish is perhaps best suited for those looking to diet, as it is unlikely to be satisfying enough for a regular meal.

Good FOOD, I ordered a bole of Jajangmyeon Black bean noodles and they were way better then the packaged noodles. Service was excellent as well.Food: 4/5

As suggested by other, quite sure that the restaurant is not run by Korean. Most probably by people who speak Chinese. Bibimbap quite disappointed as it did not taste any like Korean one. Beef Short Rib Soup was fair. It woud be nice if there was more short rips. Staff is friendly though.

Aberdeen Centre food court now has stone bowl bibimbap and tofu soup! Good value as a $14-15 meal include seaweed soup, one side, and the main dish. The portion of the side is good. Main dish was so big I can bring some home if I had a container. Taste decent. The chili sauce provided for my stone bowl rice was pretty hot. Will come back to try their tofu soup.

I’ve only had the pork bone soup and kimchi tofu stew. The pork bone soup, though it wasn’t the best I’ve had in Richmond it was pretty legit and good value. The kimchi stew is AMAZING. It’s a lot of food and you can easily stretch this into a couple of meals. $18 with a drink - the grapefruit drink was a pretty refreshing change from the normal ice lemon tea dominating the food court.
